This little cutie pie is up for adoption. She is approximately 1 year old. She is great with children as she was living on a school compound. She is spayed and vaccinated and currently being housed at the clinic.

THE BENEFITS OF BLOOD TESTS

Getting your pet's blood tested is important to ensure they are healthy. Blood tests can reveal hidden dangers before your pet starts to show any physical signs.

The results from blood tests give important information on whether your pet is anemic, has an infection, is adequately hydrated and also shows how well your pet's blood is clotting. Blood tests can also show how the kidneys and liver are functioning.

It is highly recommended that your pet's blood be tested before surgical procedures. Doing blood tests before surgery determines if your pet's blood will clot properly and ensures that the appropriate dose of anaesthesia is safely administered to your pet.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD PETS HAVE A BLOOD TEST?

A yearly screen is highly recommended as part of your pet's health check up. For senior pets 7 years and older, twice yearly is recommended. This is an important step to understanding your pet's health and uncovering early signs of disease.
