This cake! Talk about a cute cake to lift my spirits. I was so excited when this cake came to life!

The story of this cake lol… this is Riku’s third cake with us and his mum and I were thinking of designs and I suggested orange, or maybe orange and yellow and she said sounds good because ‘I think of my dog as sunshine and daylight ☀️✨’ 🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️ Guys my heart!!! I’m so happy I made this for her sunshine and incorporated all the bits of the inspo cake pics I sent her. She ultimately gave me creative freedom and here we are- the cutest, sun shiny cake doggy cake! ☀️🌞

I can never thank yall enough for choosing Dottie’s to celebrate your doggo’s birthdays. It means so much ❤️

Our story...

Our Story

“Adrian! Pet shop! Let’s go!!”- probably a combination of words some men are used to hearing, followed by the amble through the aisles and ‘oohs’ and ‘soo cute’ over the new items and pets for sale in the shop. This time I (Robyn) talked him into buying dog treats for the girls: Hailey and Dot. The treats were nicely hand-packaged and placed in a basket by the cashier and I thought “Yes! Some homemade treats for the doggies”… little did we know it they just repackaged treats from a popular brand. Our disappointment was palpable.

We then decided the best way to fix this was to create our own- bake our own dog treats- know what the girls are actually eating. Consequently, in February 2018, Dottie’s Treats was born.
