綠貽貝（Green-Lipped Mussel, Perna Canaliculus）外殼有容易辨識的深綠、亮綠色條紋，主要生長在紐西蘭沿海的特有品種
它提供了軟骨和關節中主要的成分—醣胺聚醣GAGs，不但含有抗發炎活性成分、天然蛋白質、omega 3、還有天然的抗氧化特性

其脂肪含量中有較高比例的omega 3長鏈不飽和脂肪酸，在許多臨床研究中指出，攝取足夠的omega 3可以很有效的減緩體內發炎、關節、髖關節腫脹或不適，進而達到保護關節的作用
要注意！其脂肪含量需要達到每100g含有至少6%才能起到抑制發炎的效果！

臨床研究還指出，每天補充足夠劑量的綠貽貝，還能有效減少胸腔哮喘鳴音，還能提高支氣管的氣流量！對許多氣管塌陷或呼吸器流量不足的毛孩是很好的食物選擇

市面上許多綠貽貝的生產是使用高溫乾燥，經過高溫處理後的綠貽貝營養成分會流失約40%，omega 3也會跟著流失不少。
而「冷凍」處理的綠貽貝能保有97%的營養素，營養成分和密度都高於高溫處理的綠貽貝，家長在選購綠貽貝時一定要選擇經過「冷凍」處理的產品，才能確保毛孩攝取到最豐富的營養~

HPP處理過的食物還是原本的食物嗎？
在極高壓力＆使用溫度加工、烹煮過的食物，不論是蛋白質、脂肪、天然酵素、結構、味道、口感…等等都會有所變化，營養也會流失
雖然食物表面的壞菌確實已被殺死，但對於建立一個健康腸道環境的好菌卻也被殺光殆盡！
另外，包裝食物的塑膠，也難說不會在極高壓的加工環境中釋放出任何有害毒素…

毛孩的身體結構和人類不同，健康的毛孩是有足夠能力抵擋外界的許多壞菌。
而健康毛孩的養成，就是取自食物和環境中最天然的營養和好菌！

生食真的充滿細菌＆寄生蟲，絕對不能給毛孩嗎？🤔
👉只要從食材源頭做好篩選、品質管理及菌種檢驗，以健康毛孩的腸胃狀況來說，未經過高溫高壓加工的生食原型食物，是能夠幫助他們建立起最健康的腸道消化系統！
🥦新鮮食物中含有天然的食物酶是可以

肉類，更準確地用生物學的方式說，「肌肉」，是組成一餐均衡生鮮餐食的主要食材。
其中包括了「不帶骨肉類、脂肪、舌頭、心臟、胃、肺、胗、各式軟骨及筋」都可以稱得上是肌肉
犬貓需要大量的蛋白質來維持身體機能，且他們需要從餐食中的肌肉取得身體所需的熱量及氨基酸
生鮮餐食中，肌肉的組成約佔60~80%，這些肉類不但提供蛋白質還提供了必需的營養素，包含「水溶性維生素」及「礦物質」

肉類根據肌肉纖維分成兩大類：「慢縮肌纖維」及「快縮肌纖維」

慢縮肌纖維包含大多數的紅肉，例如：牛肉、羊肉、鴨肉、豬肉、鹿肉。這類的肌肉有攜帶氧氣的功能、含有較高的肌紅素及血紅素，因此呈現的顏色較為鮮紅
快縮肌纖維則包含大多數的白肉，例如：雞肉、火雞、兔肉、鵪鶉。這類肌肉含有較少的肌紅素，因此呈現的顏色較不鮮豔

簡單來說，紅肉較白肉來得更加營養且含有更高密度的蛋白質、維生素、礦物質及氨基酸

提供毛孩多樣化的肉類，才能確保毛孩的營養是最多元且均衡的

“Muscle meat” according to biology definitions include boneless muscle meat, raw animal fat, tongue, heart, green tripe, lungs and gizzards

Cats and dogs require a large amount of protein and amino acids for optimal health. A raw diet that includes 60~80% muscle meat provides not only protein but also many essential nutrients such as water-soluble vitamins and minerals

Muscle meat is categorized into red meat and white meat based on the type of muscle tissue fibre

Slow twitch muscle fibres aka red meat, for example: beef, lamb, duck, pork and game meat. Slow twitch muscle fibres have a higher amount of myoglobin therefore red meat is usually darker in colour

Fast twitch muscle fibres are white meat, for example: chicken, quail, turkey and rabbit.
White meat muscle has a lower level of myoglobin therefore it shows a lighter colour

Simply put, red meat is more nutrient dense compared to white meat and it gives a higher concentration of protein, vitamins, minerals and amino acids
