At first glance I thought these were Springer Spaniels but they are not.

A lot of people think the Malinois is the Belgian Shepherd. But there are in fact 4 types.

1. Belgian Malinois: Known for their short, fawn-colored coat and black mask, they are often used in police and military work due to their high energy and intelligence.
2. Belgian Tervuren: Recognized by their long, thick coat that is usually fawn to mahogany with black overlay. They are versatile working dogs and excel in various dog sports.

This guy got his first crate. We expected it to be a protracted lesson for him. But he took to it instantly. We often don’t like crates because to us they look like a prison. Dogs usually love them.

This man is the only person ever to have trained foxes to work as rat catchers. They were meant to be better than dogs as they could hold up to 5 in their mouth. It is a good indicator as to how domestication of wolves could have led to us having dogs.
