𝐀 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐞: 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐀𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐢!!
Ahadi is a brave cat whose story began with tragedy but turned into one of hope and love.
Found by a compassionate tourist lady named Lydia Le-Ko from Germany, Ahadi had suffered a severe head injury so grave that her brain was almost visible. Despite her dire condition, Lydia reached out to us for help. We immediately stepped in to provide the necessary treatment.
To our surprise, just two weeks later, Ahadi gave birth to three kittens. Unfortunately, two of them were stillborn, likely due to the immense pain and stress Ahadi endured. But with a month of dedicated care, treatment, and vaccinations, Ahadi made a miraculous recovery, returning to her normal, healthy self.
Moved by Ahadi's resilience, Lydia decided to adopt her and bring her back to Germany, where she could have a better life. The journey was not easy—we needed to organize a Rabies Titer Test and gather all the required documents. Given the severity of Ahadi’s previous condition, we couldn’t let her travel alone.
After nearly five months of preparation, Ahadi finally made it to Germany, accompanied by a flight buddy to ensure her safety. Today, Ahadi thrives in her new home, surrounded by love and care.
Ahadi's story is just one of many. We have rescued countless cats and dogs, each with their own unique journey—some have been adopted, while others are still waiting for their forever homes.
The reality is harsh: many street animals are in desperate need of help. Whether they are abandoned kittens or puppies, injured strays, or victims of car accidents, their suffering is real, and they deserve a chance at life.
This is why, together with Lydia, Ahadi's adopter and Laila Choudhry (Our Supporter), we are advocating for the creation of a small animal shelter in Nungwi.
This shelter would serve the surrounding areas—Matemwe, Pwani Mchangani, Kiwengwa, and Uroa—offering a sanctuary for strays in the most critical conditions.
While we cannot save every animal on the streets, our goal is to provide treatment, vaccinations, care, and, most importantly, a loving home for as many as possible.
The responsibility to care for these animals is not just ours; it is a collective duty. Ensuring the health and well-being of these animals is crucial for both individual and public health.
Building this shelter will require significant funds, and that’s where we need your help. Without your support, this dream cannot become a reality.
