Time is running out to stop the worlds first commercial octopus farm from being built in Gran Canaria.

If built, around 1 million octopuses will be killed here each year!

Octopuses are incredibly intelligent and sensitive creatures. They are known to cuddle one another and have excellent long term memories.

Yet there are no welfare rules for this farm and the octopuses will be killed by being put into containers of water kept at -3°C/26.6°F

Studies have shown that this method of slaughter using 'ice slurry' causes a slow, stressful death.

Please sign and share the petition demanding that this extremely cruel facility is never built.

They suffer greatly for your quickly forgotten meal. Is this what truly being human means? Have you forgotten your own compassion? Are you so far removed from what you are eating that you don’t even realize meat on your plate is FLESH? It’s flesh and you’re eating it like a zombie. It numbs you. It desensitizes you to the suffering of others. It steals your soul.
