Maxy the special one Delivers!

On 7 October 2021 we all waited with anxiety at the prospect of dazzling Maxy giving birth to her first set of FCI puppies.

It's really amazing that we were really able to support Maxy through this time.

She whelped 8 strong puppies.

5 males and 3 females.

A Mother Soon!

All KNPV ph1 training exercises for Maxy were recently halted to let her go through her pregnancy smoothly.

Maxy will be whelping soon and we expect an amazing litter - we are elated at the prospect of having our first litter with Maxy at 2 years of age now.

I should say that, Maxy is the true epitome of a working dog. She bites hard, shows phenomenonal courage, very protective and dominant, and gracefully intelligent.

And I may like to add she is an AMAZING training partner - we are all missing on the training course.

We are quickly counting down the days to week 12 when our current litter of Belgian Shepherd Malinois pups set off to their new homes.

We are extremely elated to have found good and deserving homes for these Stallions and Champs..Nothing warms our hearts and quietens our minds at the thought of setting up these wonderful fellas for a successful life at Guard and Security Work.

So, we are prepping them up and doing early conditioning and preparing them for life away from NMF Kennels 🇺🇬

We wish them nothing but the best at what they were born to do to: Secure the World!

I will be sad very soon!

The clock is ticking, all I hear is tick -tock!

All I hear are sounds; gentle and fast sounds from these beautiful "lads" and "misses" saying we are ready to meet our next challenge..."let us loose"! we cant wait to show how great we are!

I wish they could see the darkness the pending sadness in my mind and heart at the thought of them leaving very soon.

My joy true joy is with the dogs...they are more than dogs to me...they are a part of me. Raising these pups is a joy every day, we see them grow into champs, we see them grow into stallions, we see them grow into the ultimate prize...

So, we will be naming them soon and our loss is a joy to our clients that keep saying that NMF Kennels is doing something exceptional...I don't know if we are..all we really know is that we are dead passionate and intentional about our calling - it's all we know.

My friends let's enjoy the few days we have with each other...( You will be gone soon!)

Today, our new Belgian Malinois Shepherd Litter turned 5 weeks old.

This - I litter is growing impressively well.

We expect all of them to turn out well; capable of deployment as total working dogs as home security dogs, detection and patrol dogs in different service streams.

Our key strength is responsive, ethical and honest client service.

We care to produce and sell only guard and protection dogs that are pure breeds. We deal only in Pure Bred Dogs. A Pure Bred Dog is a dog whose mother, father and ancestors are all the same breed. Choosing a pure bred dog gives you an idea of what your dog may be like, but it is important to remember that each dog is an individual and may display characteristics outside of his breed. We are aware that it is possible to have Mixed Breeds however to maintain our product and service offering we stick to only Pure Breeds. And this is why?A Cross Breed is a dog whose parents are purebred but of different breeds. For example, a Cockapoo has a Cocker Spaniel parent and a Poodle parent. Cross breed dogs, just like purebred dogs, can make loyal and affectionate pets but just like Mixed Breed dogs below share similar drawbacks.

Mixed Breed Dogs: Are products of three or four breeds such as Dalmatian + Boxer/Poodle or Dalmatian/Collie + Boxer/Poodle. In Mixed bred dogs, multiple breeds are contributing genes and traits, and there is no way to sort out which genes (and traits) might have come from which breed. And often there are far more than three or four breeds.

People who look at a mixed breed dog and then declare which breed's genes are inside that dog, are only guessing.

There are simply too many breeds, too many genes that can produce a certain shape of head, ear carriage, type of tail, coat length, color, etc., and too many ways those genes can combine. It can be difficult to determine what the adult appearance, size, personality and behavior of a mixed breed dog will be, but his dominant physical features may provide some clues. For example, if he looks a lot like a Poodle, he may grow up with Poodle-like characteristics and personality.

Delta and Joe come from exceptional KNPV and FCI lines respectively, and both are such a real pleasure to train in our protection work programme.
