Hello Farmers, be aware of Anthrax this dry season as our animals graze on short pastures or bare fields due to pasture scarcity, Anthrax is a very dangerous notifiable and zoonotic livestock disease, it's caused by bacillus anthracis,it affects all livestock animals except poultry birds.it's associated with sudden death with rigidity or incomplete rigor mortis and blood flow from body openings i.e mouth, nostrils, ears, v***a and a**s. Incase of any suspected case, report to nearest veterinarian or authorities for proper disposal, note that it's not advisable to touch the carcass and not to consume either, stay safe stay healthy.
