Our lesson students had some fun last night at the end of their lesson. They asked if they could "run with their horses" . I told them sure but I wasn't sure if the lesson horses would trot with them. Our lesson horses are little saints and all trotted with their riders. We are very lucky to have such a great group of lesson students at our barn.
Mounted Native Costume is a fun class to watch. Here is a short video to give you an idea. This is always a crowd favorite class as you can hear. This was during the evening show at Scottsdale.
Rainy day fun
When it is raining out I like to give the young horses some free time in the arena to stretch their legs safely. This is Malibou and she is owned by Cassie .
More end of the summer session fun! Our fall session starts today.
We had fun in our last week of summer lessons. Fall lessons will start up again after Labor Day.
At the Minnesota Horse Expo they have different clinicians that come from all different types of backgrounds that will put on several clinics through out the weekend. Our favorite one was a hunter jumper instructor.
At the expo we were able to see a vaulting demonstration. The instructor said they have people of all ages that vault.
