We are currently looking for a new groomer here at KatieDidIt Grooming. In a groomer we look for important qualities such as;
1. Experience and Knowledge
We are looking for a groomer with knowledge of various dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques. Someone who knows how to use grooming tools. We can always share our knowledge if there is confusion.
2. Patience and Gentle Handling
Grooming can be intense for some dogs, especially those who are anxious, scared, or have had a negative grooming experience in the past. Therefor it's crucial to have a groomer who has exceptional patience and the ability to handle dogs with gentleness and care.
3. Good Communication Skills
A groomer must have good communication skills to effectively interact with the dogs and their owners. Clear and concise communication is important when discussing grooming preferences with pet owners and understanding specific needs. Here at KatieDidIt Grooming we are a family, so it is also important that we communicate with each other.
4. Attention to Detail and Creativity
Every groomer should have a keen eye for detail and possess creative instincts to deliver exceptional grooming results. Dogs come in all different shapes, sizes, and coat types and each pet requires a customized approach to grooming, so a groomer should demonstrate an ability to groom efficiently while producing aesthetically pleasing results.
5. Adaptability and Problem-Solving Skills
The grooming industry is ever evolving, and situations can arise unexpectedly during grooming sessions. A groomer should be adaptable and possess strong problem-solving skills to handle these challenges affectively.

Today we celebrate 7 years since we started katiediditgrooming. Most small businesses fail within the first 5 years, but we made it! We now have a shop, a store front, and boarding. we have worked hard, and we are thankful for all that we have accomplished.We appreciate everyone's love and support. Heads up for our clients-July 6-14th we will be doing very minimal grooming. Our shop owner Katie will be taking some much needed time to enjoy and relax for a few days! Thank you for understanding 😊

Also June 29th the shop will be CLOSED as we are celebrating with staff on ☆7☆ year of being in business! Most small businesses do not make it past 2 years, so this is a HUGE accomplishment for us that we will be celebrating 😍👐👏

Hello all, my name is Katie. Since we've been growing more lately, I wanted to take the time to reintroduce myself! I am the owner of KatieDidIt grooming!

I have been grooming for 9+ years, operating my own business for almost 7 yrs (come the end of June). I am a mom to 2 wonderful teenagers, and many fur babies- of all shapes and sizes. Our shop is military owned and operated.

My certificates range from "Canine Good Citizen Evaultor", "Canine Speciliast", "AKC Safety Certified Groomer", "Veterinary Assistant Training", "Pet Tech Certified" (which is animal CPR & first aid), "Vet Tech certified", and currently in schooling to become a vet. We are certified to do dog behavioral training courses, which we do offer.

We value family, and everyone that comes through our doors automatically become part of our extended family. We thank you for choosing us 🥰🐶
