Hello and WELCOME! Johnson's Great Danes is family owned and operated by Mrs. Michelle Johnson and family. We are tucked away on 10 country acres in Abilene Tx. Michelle has been in the animal profession for over 18 years now and has the experience and knowledge your looking for! She started out from Wylie High School where she went on to study cosmetology for a half term, while working at a boarding facility back in 2003. She tended facilities, took on grooming, bathing and operated the front desk! Next, she went on and furthered herself as a veterinary technician/office manager for a veterinarian for a period of time. After that, she decided to get certified in the medical field! She obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, along with her Certified Medication Assistant certification before enrolling for LVN! From there she quickly realized animals were her passion, so in 2010 she opened and operated her personal boarding facility for 10 years. She LOVED IT. In 2014 we added a new addition to our 2 legged family and in her down time she realized, her specialty and passion was in her family and her danes!!! She noticed this passion back in 2004 and has since perfected her image of danes. She now has attached facilities to her home, and has converted her boarding facility into her beloved great danes individual suites/yards, where an addition is currently being attached as a whelping/care nursery! When we select our 4 legged family members, we look for the best, so we may provide the absolute best for our customers,their families and ours.
