Our transport team is comprised of three drivers so that we have a fresh driver and an individual with eyes on the passengers at all times. One of our affiliates is a licensed vet nurse with 40 years experience in the vet field and available 24/7 to help deal with any situation. In addition to the normal transport supplies, we will have several medical supplies on board with the ability to address
almost any situation that may arise. We are USDA transport certified and have a strict protocol in place for handling of all animals to prevent any illness or possible cross contamination of kennels and litters. All animals 4 months of age or less are handled with "no paws on the ground" protocols. Health Requirements
All animals must be at least fourteen (14) days out of a shelter before being transported, some areas may require 30 days out depending on situation. Prior to boarding transport, each animal will be required to have proof of all vaccinations given no less than 3 days prior to transport. Puppies must have at least three sets of vaccinations, the last given no less than 3 days prior to transport and be at least 12 weeks old. All additional vetting must be met as required by receiving state Department of Agriculture. Health Certs and all vet papers will be required to be submitted to [email protected] no later than the day before transport and a hard copy of each to be provided at time of loading. Hard copies should be in an envelope with the passenger name, drop off location and receiving rescue name written on the front. For dogs that have been treated for parvo, transport will not be scheduled until at least thirty (30) days have passed since end of clinical signs of the illness. Prices:
