In December, Angel came to HART in dire need, weighing a mere 15lbs and battling malnutrition. But with the love and dedication of our HART team, Angel’s story took a beautiful turn!
We’re thrilled to announce that Angel is now thriving, having gained much needed weight and radiating joy! Not just that, but Angel has found her forever home with our very own Communications Coordinator, Cari! She’s now surrounded by furry siblings, Walter (a former HART adoptee) and Sundance!
When you visit us at HART, keep an eye out for Angel peeking out the window, or if you’re volunteering, she’ll greet you with a wagging tail in the volunteer room!

Meet Dolly, the sweetest girl with a heart full of love! This incredible senior girl has been with us since April 2023, when she was found abandoned in a rural area. Despite her rough start, she has the most gentle and affectionate nature.
In this video, you'll catch a glimpse of Dolly's day out hiking with Meredith, one of our amazing adoption wing team members. If you love hiking and adventures, Dolly is your girl!
Dolly is looking for her forever home, and we're offering a special half-price adoption fee for her! At 60 lbs, she's the perfect cuddle buddy.
While she's mostly housebroken, Dolly sometimes has trouble holding it overnight for 12 hours. But don't worry, we're working on it, and with a little patience, she'll get there!
She adores people and craves their attention, but can be a bit jealous of other dogs. So, she would do best as the only furry friend in the household.
Age is just a number, but we estimate Dolly to be around 8 years old, making her eligible for the half-price adoption fee!

From April to October, shelters face a surge in unwanted kittens during what is called "kitten season". A variety of factors including longer days, warmer weather and increased access to food can attribute to this yearly phenomenon!
Did you know? On average, a cat can have 4-8 kittens per pregnancy, contributing to the rapid growth of the cat population and an increase in the number of kittens in shelters.

If you’re looking to add some joy to your life, look no further! Yogi is our big and lovable 4-year old Lab mix weighing in at 75lbs! 🐾 He is looking for his new best friend!
Yogi is a bundle of joy who adores toys and lives for playtime. He gets along great with female dogs and tends to be more submissive around male pups. However, Yogi is not a fan of our feline friends. He also seems to be housebroken!
We recommend Yogi for families with older children, ages 10 years and up, due to his size. He’s a good natured sweetheart who can’t resist a good belly rub! Let’s find Yogi a home!

Meet our charming Huckleberry! 🐾 This Lab/Pointer mix is approximately 2 years old and was discovered as a stray, so his history is a bit of a mystery. Despite his past, he’s a sweetheart who gets along well with other dogs!
Huckleberry is already showing signs of being housebroken-a true gem! He weighs in at 40lbs., though he’s a bit on the thin side currently. While he hasn’t been around cats much, his curiosity is piqued. Due to the unknowns in his background, we’re setting an age limit of 6 years for children in his potential forever home. Let’s find Huckleberry the loving family he deserves! ❤️
