We said we personally wernt taking on anymore horses but sometimes it's not what the horse can do for you but what you can do for the horse.
She's 24 and definitely deserved a soft landing.
2 wonderful people came together to ensure she was safe and asked if we could accommodate her needs.
She is quite emaciated but we can handle that.
Upon speaking with one of her previous owners we have learned her barn name is Sally
I think it did her heart good to have someone call her by name again
She just leaned in to us when you say her name. I wasn't sure if I needed to smile or cry.
She is safe to live out her days just being a horse. She's earned it

Still on the fence about pulling from the lots? My sis surprised me in 2016 pulling this girl for my bday. She knew I was so upset someone hadn't snagged her. All because of her color. There are so many good ones that end up in a bad spot. No they are not all there for a reason. I don't want to hear one thing that buying one sends another. They are shipping regardless.(Thats a entirely different discussion) It's not your business to judge their business. It's only your business to get a great horse safe. If you need help finding and pulling a safe horse , we help with that. Folks send me links to videos daily and I give my honest opinion of what I see and also based on their experience. Her owner passed and they couldn't get her to the sale barn quick enough. This young man is a young adult now still helping his family find great homes for horses.
