When the OG comes to play, we don’t let snow stand in the way. Kelsey was our main rider for years and lives further away now and has a non horse job, so I was elated to have a visit 🙂 We used to do our unicorn testing all the time and we should get back to it, it’s an excellent way to showcase the qualities we value the most here… a kind heart, ability to roll with the punches, and a whole lot of try. These guys certainly showed us that, I can’t wait to post their videos, I was so impressed with all of them. Less than impressed with my iPhone’s low light video abilities but hey, you can’t have everything 💕🦄❄️❄️❄️❄️

Allow me formally introduce this understated lovely… trust me, plain doesn’t describe this girl at all and would be a capital injustice.

Allure is a 4 year old 16.1+ TB mare who literally screams hunter princess (let me be clear, let’s all wish for eventers, dressage horses, jumpers, and fox hunters who have excellent self carriage, an innate ability to stretch over their top line, and an attitude that wants to please and a brain that’s capable of calmly processing the question asked… you’re not going wrong there, so when I say hunter, yes you could take them in a million different directions but I truly feel a lovely hunter is born and not made mentality wise, and I love those who suit).

This mare is a lot of fun, super sound with clean legs, and loves attention and to do whatever is asked with a yes your highness attitude. I love, love, love a brain like that. She has lovely, correct movement and her first ride really impressed us, a day after she got here, right from the paddock after an hour or two of her first turnout. You can’t not admire a horse like that. Kat immediately said how lovely she was and what a soft mouth she has and how responsive. This mare is super super special, great ground manners, and turns out in a mixed herd. She would be a great partner for anyone and an awesome RRP project. We got a few moments between the rain for my niece Orlynn to ride and both girls to meet the horses and learn to brush and tack up… who did I pick without question? Buddy the three year old of course 😂. This is one of the quietest kindest horses I’ve ever met and he loves kids. My son Gavin can be very timid with riding, but asked to trot on Buddy today and said he understands why they call him Buddy, “When I ride him, he’s my best friend” I honestly can’t believe no one has sn**ched this guy up yet, he is amazing.

Bamboo is an 8 year old 16.2 TB mare who’s New Year’s resolution is to be your new best friend. Bamboo is sound with no vices, RRP eligible, and had one of the most pleasant first rides we’ve ever had. Kat, her rider, described her canter as “floating on a feather” and one of the best canters she’s ever ridden. All of her gaits are just lovely, this one could be the hack winner as she lets down and learns to use herself. During her first ride, the day after arrival, two of her friends were enjoying their first turnout in the paddock next to the ring and when I say enjoying… lol. Despite their hijincs, Bamboo didn’t put a foot wrong and did everything asked. Bamboo is quiet and straight forward wtc and would make an easy project for someone. Can’t say enough about this girl, she really has the brains and beauty all in one package. She is absolutely stunning, photos do no justice. We can’t leave Squishy out, how adorable is this guy? The world’s quietest baby, total kick ride and absolutely unflappable. Young racehorses’ first turnout? Nap time. Ring construction setting posts in 25 degrees? Who cares? Not Squish that’s for sure.

There’s literally nothing plain about Allure, even if she is in a plain brown wrapper. She is so well put together, sweet, and look at that face. She was so relaxed and good natured her first ride, I’m over the moon for her. She is absolutely exquisite. Besides, if you ask me a “plain” bay is like a little black dress… classic, timeless, and essential.

Squishy is a coming 3 year old 16.1 TB gelding (still growing!) who was created to fulfill our adult dreams of having our own my size pony. Squish looks just like a large pony except, well, super sized. Squish is sound barefoot, total kick ride, and just adorabe. He’s like one of those stress toys you can squeeze on a hard day, hugs welcome for this gigantic dog. Squish is easy and straight forward wtc and has been brought up correctly and with so much love that he can settle into someone’s family or be their other half so easily. He lives out in a mixed herd or stalls quietly and did I mention he’s sound barefoot (and, um, flicks toes like THAT barefoot?!). He is so absolutely adorable it’s just unreal. I just want to boop his nose every time I see him. Stands great for mounting and great ground manners. This is such a good opportunity for your own DIY unicorn, he has all the ingredients you just need to assemble them. Low to mid 🦄🦄🦄🦄 to fit under your 🎄, I think he’s a little big for a stocking stuffed but I’m sure he’d be happy to let you try. Located in Newville, PA.

Buddy is a coming 4 year old 15.3 TB gelding who is just the sweetest guy ever. He has a lovely correct build and is going to have that thick show hunter type in no time as he lets down and continues to finish out. And we know you can’t ride the head but… it sure is one of the prettiest in the barn (even if he did opt for nap time when I got the cutest picture of his face 😂🤦‍♀️). Kick quiet wtc and a delight to have in the barn, Buddy has already stolen our hearts and is guaranteed to steal yours too. Buddy has clean legs and no injuries, he retired sound from his brief, and lackluster, attempt at racing and we aren’t surprised… Buddy is more the type to enjoy a stroll on the beach than run a marathon, that’s for sure. Slow and quiet is his whole vibe. He is easy enough a junior or amateur could easily bring him along. Buddy is mid to low 🧝🧝🧝🧝 to find his place under your 🎄. Located in Newville, PA. Stella is a 15.3 25 year young TB mare who is one of the most delightful individuals I’ve ever come across, hands down. Stella came to me because her people knew she would love attention and with her wonderful disposition she had a lot to offer. Stella is one of the very last daughters of Seattle Slew, yes, I said -daughter- and quite frankly I’ve just been trying not to ask her for her autograph. I never thought I would meet one of these in my lifetime, honestly, and I am honored to find her the perfect person who will worship the ground she walks on like I do. Stella is so quiet wtc and over fences, she loves the attention and sauntered back to the barn after we rode her so proud of herself. It was absolutely adorable. She is incredibly safe and a school master type. Anyone can ride her and she is so trustworthy.

She was so delighted getting her shoes on, she just absolutely loves her princess treatment and is one of the most genuine horses I’ve ever met. She is looking for the perfect home, and I won’t settle for less for her. She is available for a care lease. While she is quiet enough to teach, we are looking for one person to spoil this girl in her golden years. She is not available to a breeding home, for what I feel are obvious reasons, so please don’t ask, thanks. I’d judge you, honestly 😇. Located in Newville, PA.

Belle is growing up so nice, baby’s first vertical. This mare is by a full brother to American Pharoah and out of a Jump Start mare, so athletic and so quiet she’s literally the easiest one to bring along. Someone will be so lucky.

Today was a day, well, this week was a week where sometimes you find it hard to feel your passion for what you do… but seeing these incredible rides for Edward and Michael was something that set me right back where I needed to be. Phoebe did an amazing job today and brought out the best in these two. Eddie is so incredibly eager to please and so smart, and our gangly 3 year old Michael is finding himself and showing what a horse he will be. Michael has the most amazing personality and is such a quiet ride. These two are going to make the most incredible partners. Thank you to these two for making me remember how much I absolutely love this job.

Cup of Joe “Joey” is a 6 year old 16.1 TB gelding who is really the whole package. He has so much potential and while he’s been brought up in the hunters, and I think will excel there, I really think I could see him shine in any ring. He is easy wtc, quiet but responsive and maintains his own pace. He is that perfect quiet but not dull type that is just a joy to ride. He has an easy change, most of the time auto. Over fences, Joey has an absolutely lovely jump. He has shown both rated and local with a junior. He loves to please and is going to make a wonderful partner for someone. Joey has the best resume for his age but is still green so we do recommend a balanced, quiet rider to allow him to continue to blossom. Upper ☕️☕️☕️☕️ to a fantastic home, located in Newville, PA.

Edward is a 5 year old 15.3 TB gelding who is RRP eligible, sound with no vices, and just adorable. Edward is very special to me as I worked with his mother and adored her. He is quiet and easy wtc and always wants to do the right thing. Edward is a people pleaser and is so affectionate and would love to bond with his person. Our junior rider said if she was shopping he’s her hands down favorite out of all the greenies we’ve had as he is just so balanced and has a lovely, easy change and the best canter. We are hand picking his home, only the best will do, and looking for a long term home for him. We are very open to offers to the perfect home, so if you think you’re the one, reach out! Sienna is a 16 hand TB mare who is RRP eligible and sound barefoot. She is as low maintenance as she is fancy and lives out 24/7 happily as well currently. Sienna was ridden the day after the arrived here to us and went right to work and was super easy wtc and naturally wants to go round and use herself. She could truly go in any direction, I am so impressed with her. I see her as a lovely hunter but no reason she couldn’t do other jobs as well. Belle is a 15.2 coming 4 year old unraced TB mare who has been brought along slowly and correctly and honestly reminds me of a mini WB. She’s got lovely bone and a huge stride and is still growing, we expect her to mature to 15.3+. Belle is easy and uncomplicated wtc with an easy natural change we expect will be auto in no time, she gave them to us easily at first ask (our first time asking is in her video). No issues or vices, Belle lives out currently but stalls happily as well and is sound barefoot. We all love a low maintenance girl 💁‍♀️. Guys omg. Stay tuned for the glam up but this may be the most exciting horse to ever come in. This girl is one of the very last actual daughters of Seattle Slew, it’s like meeting a celebrity 😍. I normally stay behind the camera, but no way I’m missing out on riding this living legend! Currently trying not to creep her out by fan girling too much (but inside I’m squealing with excitement!)

We realize we’ve been quiet, but the elves have been hard at work getting these guys ready to go for Christmas. Santa’s workshop (the ring) has been under final construction for the expansion so they’ve been learning life skills and working out in the field (which honestly I’ll never not love seeing horses going in a natural ring or out in the field, they enjoy it and move so beautifully on it). A friend borrowed Memoir to use for her lesson program, and she has just blossomed so much.

Memoir is an 11 year old 15.3 TB mare who is straight forward and uncomplicated wtc with an easy lead change and brave over fences. While she’s happy to do lessons, I think she suits an event based program the best or I think she’d love her own program. She is brave, safe, and uncomplicated but has her own motor and wants to do the job which I admire a lot. She is invaluable for that type of program or anyone looking for an event, dressage, jumper, or fox hunter. She is not spicy, but confident and nicely forward with great brakes. She could easily be showing at Loch Moy in no time with a junior or amateur or ready to fox hunt this season. She goes into the bridle so lovely and is easy for a kid or amateur to learn to do that, she is a rare gem and will make someone so happy. We planned to keep going with her over the winter but are short on time and stalls so letting her go at a project price to someone who will love and appreciate her and give her the time and attention she deserves. This is something I’ve been putting off, because this mare is my friend and I selfishly so enjoy her company but Ella has bigger aspirations than warming my pasture and entertaining me.

I think we can all agree that access to a schoolmaster is an absolutely incredible gift to a rider. It cannot be replicated no matter how we tried, and Ella has made it clear to me she feels her journey developing riders isn’t over and I have to do what makes her the most happy so here we are.

Ella is a 21 year old 15.3 TB mare who has shown the jumpers, done dressage, and has all the miles. Ella is a consummate professional who loves to get to business and wants a rider dedicated to their development. She possesses three incredible gaits, a lovely jump, and an incredible sense of humor. She is nicely forward with great brakes and will jump from any distance and get her rider to the other side safely. She is a jumper, not a hunter, and is worth her weight in gold to someone who wants to truly learn their craft. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her, I adore her, but she deserves all the attention and I’m not sure I’ve seen a horse happier when she gets to do her job. She is offered for a care lease for a long term placement, don’t be offended but this isn’t first come, first serve. I adore this mare and she deserves the absolute perfect fit. I’m so excited to present something so incredibly special, just in time for her to go under your tree 😉

Bella is a coming 4 year old unraced TB filly who should mature right around 15.3, that’s right, she moves like that and will be a top of the line small junior. In love yet? I am but I’ll keep going. Bella was sourced and lovingly raised by one of the best professionals I’ve known who has an eye to pick out a horse that I aspire to, and as usual she did not miss… Bella moves like a WB and has the biggest, sweepiest stride even while she is still finding herself under saddle. She was given all the time to grow up and sent to my very favorite trainer to start them. You couldn’t hand pick a better team behind this filly if you tried.

As such Belle is quiet and uncomplicated, she is balanced and an incredible mover and responds to every question with a great answer. She has an unflappable temperament and is afraid of nothing, she trotted a line of cross rails her first time ever seeing them like she was a 20 year old school horse. Nothing bothers this mare. We are so looking forward to finding the perfect person to develop her, this filly has A circuit written all over her. She’s an easy keeper who is sound barefoot and lives out easily but is just as happy to come and hang out in a stall for you as well. I honestly can’t say enough about her. Star of the day, Boulder. This 16yo 15.2+ (and just as wide lol) QH gelding is destined for great things in the hunter ring. We ADORE him.

Cedar first turnout/free lunge

We’ve had two or three jump jumps while being free lunged before, but never the log lol. Cedar said Hunter Derbies, Eventing, or Fox Hunting all sounds fun. No stop to this one 😂
