Hi there! I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Rebekah (Bekah) Ruesink. I'm originally from TN. I've had horses my entire life. I started trimming my own horses back in 2005, became more interested and educated myself so that I could provide my horses with the best possible trim I could give them. I wanted them to stay barefoot, as that is how nature intended. I could go on forever about the issues that shoes cause, but I'll leave that for another time. Fast forward a couple of years and I started trimming the other horses in my family, then my friends' horses, then eventually I had clients! I later moved to Michigan, changed focus, had kids, life happened, and I've since decided to get back into trimming for the public. I want to not only be around horses more, but I also want to be able to provide a service that is not only the norm in horse ownership, but also because it's something I enjoy and that I'm passionate about. I want to provide a quality barefoot trim that allows the horse to move freely and naturally, as nature intended, but to also meet people and educate them on why barefoot is the way to go.
