To the rambunctious Atlas getting into everything, jumping up, pulling on the leash, no coming when called and definitely no down time..... To the new improved Atlas! Calm, attentive, listens still a spunky puppy, but with boundaries, expectations and accountability he has shaped into quite the gentleman 🥰

We have Magnificent and Marlon back for a few days just boarding with us.
Lucky is what his family calls "crack dog" 😅 He's all go non stop so working on calming him down and realizing what is acceptable behavior. Leo is his housemate, building his confidence so he can relax is our goal. He barks at people just walking by his home and taking him for walks he can get vocal especially towards other dogs. He's insecure so challenging that mindset with building positive interactions is huge!
Then we have Grandpa, he's a hearding dog so those instincts to heard have spilled over into nipping at the kiddos he shares his home with. Understanding those boundaries that not everything needs to be herded 🤣
Boaz is 6 month old terrier mix. Separation anxiety is at the max! Mom can't even walk outside without him screaming inside. He's also started to get very nippy, grabbing at the leash when you try to walk him. Snapping at hands, faces and when he gets into drive mode he struggles with listening.
Rex is a mischievous 8 month old Corgi, Golden Retriever mix! If you can't find him he's probably up to no good chewing on things he's not supposed to be.
Maggie is a 9 month old Great Dane ALL puppy! Jumping and running through the house with no hesitation to take you out at the knees!
The beginning stages of waiting at the doorways for Boaz is so hard 😆 All the puppy playtime learning to share toys, space, affection and patience. All the things that help build the foundation of having impulse control that spills over into so many things of every day life!
When you're teaching your cat to be nice to the bunny 🥰😍 Too cute!

Boundary training in your yard is so fun to watch. Each pup is trained in our board and train program to stay within the bounds we set. If you watch Sadie the black and white husky mix she zips around with Dink the Pomeranian and my personal crew but stays within the yard which keeps everyone safe. Both pups have gone home and done a phenomenal job! Dink was a nightmare with potty training and at a year old the family just struggled with him understanding we don't potty in the house nor bark all the time. And unless you had a treat in your hand he wasn't listening, not even a thought about coming when he was called, you had to chase him. So the house was stressful!! They wanted to enjoy him but we're just frustrated with all his misbehaving.
Now he's a well behaved young pup, comes when he is called no more pottying in the house and without all the stress the family is so happy! 🥰

Daisy is an 11 month old lab that was a super high energy pup when she arrived. She will be going home in a few days and has done an amazing job in the board and train program!
Learning to have self-control around food for some dogs is extremely hard and it's one of the many things that I work on as these pups stay in my home.
Having those real life situations that so many people struggle with and having them addressed. Giving a clear picture of what the expectations are, keeping each pup accountable and a clear line of communication is super important!

From where Chief was at prior to the kennel anxiety and just a missile out doorways. All the excitement and no calm button 😅 He also had some food aggression and sharing his toys mom started to notice some aggression. It's so awesome to be apart of how far he's come! Now kiddo can walk him and he takes corrections when he needs to be held accountable. I love it! Chief was a rescue and has found his forever home 🥰❤️
Rambo the Presa Canario and Chief the Pitbull have been with us in our board and train program. Rambo is 10 months old and has ripped the leather off a couch as you'll see a picture of the aftermath. When left alone he's in destruction mode! Chief is a rescue and had a few naughty behaviors such as counter surfing, reactive behavior around new people, getting into the trash can, high pitch barking in the kennel ect. In my next video I will be posting a before and after of him in the kennel. We have no more screaming when Chief is in his kennel! And a calmer more enjoyable pup in the home!

Bailey was rescued months ago and mom put off training for as long as she could. Hopeful as the days past Bailey would just settle in and she was, but not in the ways mom was hoping. Bailey was realizing that her now home and mom needed to be protected.
On our first visit Bailey tried to bite me, by the end of that session I was able to sit on the kitchen floor and Bailey was joining me in a peaceful state. Our 2nd visit Bailey just barked at me a couple of times as mom invited me in. By the 3rd visit she was able to let me walk into the home excited to see me and this was our walk. As you can see mom is a bit blown away by Bailey's lack of reaction towards the other dog in the yard 😅
Dogs simply get off balance without someone in the lead position. Someone they can learn to trust as a soft place to land, but also a source of tough love when they need to be guided. It's a balance and there has to be a push and pull for it all to work. These are the dogs I help often and love watching them be able to live a more balanced life.
My job is to create structure, guidance and getting to a level you can communicate actively and productivitly.
Waiting at doorways is such an important rule I teach in my board and train program. If a kiddo was going outside and accidentally left the door open or if you're carrying in groceries and it's just easier to leave the door open it's nice to know your pup isn't going to take the opportunity to run out!
