I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the pet parents who have been so patient and supportive during this challenging time. The loss of my dad has been incredibly tough, but the arrival of my beautiful granddaughter has brought a ray of hope and joy into my life. Your understanding and kindness mean the world to me. It's amazing how dogs can sense our emotions, especially during tough times. Some of my dogs have been incredibly in tune with me. I'm feeling down due to loosing a loved one. They seem to know exactly when to come over and offer comfort. It's through a gentle nuzzle, laying their head on my lap or chest, cuddling, gazing at me with loving eyes or just sitting quietly with me. They have this sixth sense that tells them when we need a little extra love and support. Their ability to provide unconditional love and companionship during moments of sadness is truly special.

When you're going through a hard time pay attention to your dog they may be trying to offer you comfort

Why is it important to have your pups nails regularly trimmed and How do I know when to get them trimmed?

Having your pups nails trimmed is important in many ways.
It helps prevent injury because long nails can cause your fur baby to slip and fall. It can deform the feet and injure the tendon.
Split or cracked nails can cause infection from bacteria slipping in those cracks which can be extremely painful to your pup

Chances are if you can hear your pups nails clinking on hardwood they are due for a trim. This is NOT ALWAYS the case but one indication it maybe time.

If you do not know the anatomy of a dogs paw and nails refrain from trying to cut their nails on your own. This is very important because you could clip something called the “quick” in the nail and cause them to bleed and is super painful to your pup. You can contact your vet to do this service. Some groomers also include this service with a grooming session or bathing session.

The most common symptoms of paw problems in dogs include:

Licking the paw
Limping or lameness
Red and inflamed paws
Hair loss
Lesions
Ulcers with scabbing and blisters
Discharge
Bleeding
Foul smell

Always consult with a vet about any of these symptoms or concerns with your furry friend. It could be as simple as allergies or as serious as an infection or cancer. Never try to treat something without authorization from your vet!You could be causing more of an issue than you are trying to help
