Ladybells' handsome boy Duke ❤️❤️ I see his momma every day. He is definitely my stubborn basset "just like his momma" hahaha. He is the sweetest boy and we love him tremendously.

Yesterday we attended the Doggie Derby Day.
Our Maggie won 1st place and our Daisy won 2nd place in the Basset hound race.

Today Buck and I joined the Aiken Dog Walk. It was a great turn out. 87 dogs and their people came to walk the perimeter of the newly constructed Steeplechase Race Track. I love having found this new wonderful group of people to go out on a walk with our dogs.

Today I am Celebrating the life of my beautiful, sweet, loving Ladybelle Louise.
Today she would have been 4 years old.
I miss her every day. I will continue to love her through the beautiful babies she has left in my care.
Enjoy you time there on the otherside of that Rainbow Bridge baby girl.

Rusty, Lowboy, Maggie and I joined the Aiken Dog Lovers group for a walk along the Savannah River today. It was a beautiful afternoon. We met some great friends both four legged and two.
Looking forward to our next walk at the Aiken State Park in my neighborhood.

Could I get recent pics of our furbabies as they are turning 6 months old this week.
I love seeing them as they are growing and the other families love seeing the littermates as well.
We all feel bonded through this miracle litter that Ladybelle gave us and Baylee nurtured for us!!!

A perfect day for a picnic!!! We had 22 Bassets turn out. It was glorious to be surrounded by SO MANY Bassets. There were games for the Bassets-- longest ears, best howl, longest body, oldest Basset, etc. There was a silent auction and Lots of food to be had!! Lots of fun and an absolute Blessing!! Enjoyed meeting so many new people with wonderful stories of their special furbabies

Lowboy, Maggie, Duke and Daisy are going to a picnic being held for local Bassets. It is being sponsored by Denise Parmentier at the Hopeland Gardens Botanical park here in Aiken SC
