Just a shout out to the ladies of Red Dog. It’s been a crazy week for me with PreOp appts, new windows being installed in the house & Red Dog jobs. Then last night I came down with an awful virus & haven’t been able to move from my bed all day.

Jessica and Krysta have jumped in today to handle all things Red Dog. This is why I like to train our team in all aspects of the business. Thank you ladies! You make us the best & I appreciate you!

(And a big thank you to the hubby for taking care of the dogs and me today)

Well that was an interesting day today! Woke up to sleet, then snow, then rain, then sleet again. We had a full schedule today, 12 pups & 2 kitties. All the pups were pottied, exercised, fed and snuggled. The entire Red Dog staff pitched in and all are home safely.

PAWSOME CAT FACT!

One of the oldest cat breeds, the Turkish Van is known as The Swimming Cat. Hailing originally from Lake Van in Turkey, this breed of cat learned to splash his paws to hunt for fish. Modern day Turkish Vans, in general, like to swim and paw splash water dripped from faucets, and some may even be tempted to join you in your bath! Here are a few of our Red Dog Turkish Vans! Such COOL Cats!

During the end of 2024 & into 2025, I have been on the hunt for a perfect rescue dog for 2 of our dearest clients who lost their beloved golden retriever earlier this fall.

I am happy to report that after searching for just the right dog to fit their lifestyle, I had the honor of transporting "Harry" (formerly Ivo) from the Friends of the Animal Shelter - FOTAS Aiken to his new FUR-EVER home yesterday morning. We got him set up with all the necessities, scheduled with a trainer & checked out by Dr. Trey Wofford of Palmetto Vet Calls - passing Harry with a clean bill of health!

I am happy to report that Harry is doing well, loves his new Mom, Dad & home . You are ONE LUCKY DOG Harry!!!!

THAT'S A WRAP!!!!! PHEW, Thanksgiving thru December was a doozie! These are just some of the many, many pets we cared for while their hoomans visited family and friends for the holidays. Looking forward to a few days off, then back to carry on in 2025!!!
