Teamwork makes the dream work. There’s so many things that happen “behind the scenes” to keep a barn functioning at its best, one of those things is dragging our arena. It’s often done by Cody and Aleigha in the early mornings or in the evening, in the case of last night it was after 9pm when they got started and it takes about 30 minutes to drag!

Yesterday was a busy day but it was also a whole year with our Nicholas! Over the last year Nick has helped many riders grow and become even better! Some highlights include Alexis’ 4th ride after having Aleigha when we went to test ride and bring him home, taking Bristol to her first division clean sweep and champion, taking Nicole around the jumper ring for the first time in years, taking Alexis around the jumper ring for her first time ever to be division champion with a 30 second round, Erie County Fair where Nick hates the fireworks but jumped his heart out for Alexis in the 2’9” and Bristol in the 2’3”. Nick has added teaching walk trot and learn to canter lessons to his playbook recently as well and is killing it!

We love you Nick, here’s to many more years with SeekN And DreamN 🩵

We wasted no time putting our new footing to good use! Alexis and Katelyn took the opportunity to take their first rides on their OTTBs, Debbie Darling and Peacearella! These girls have goals of the 2025 Retired Racehorse Project!

It was an exciting day for us yesterday as the new footing for the indoor was dropped off and Cody and Aleigha got right to work spreading it out and ending the evening dragging! We are excited for this next chapter and riding inside this winter!!❄️

We had a great time at Jakkal Hill Stables Fall Schooling Show today!

Julia took Calla Lily for her first show experience in the walk halt division and had a fabulous time with wonderful ribbons!

Madison rode Toby Or Not Toby in the walk halt for a first show back after breaking her foot and were Champion! Giving them the confidence to try the walk trot under saddle and they did great even after Toby was spicy in the warm up ring and Alexis had to get on to school!

Aleigha fell asleep for the actual Leadline class so she got her very own after her nice two hour nap! Her and her pony, Daddy’s Last Dollar, brought out all the cuteness winning over the crowd with her princess wave, giggles, and kissing to make her pony go!

Bristol took Calla Lily in the walk trot for more experience for our cute little pony and they were Champion in the division!

Bristol then took Nick in the 2’ Hunter and had a great time with lots of learning experience, including their first true equitation course! They did great together!

After schooling Toby, Alexis decided she had to show Toby for old time sake and Toby pulled out all the stops and WON a hunter over fences class and were reserve champion! Anyone who knows Toby knows “he’s just not a hunter” but he had to be fancy today competing against his best buddy, Nick!

What a wonderful day spent with friends for a beautiful fall show! Thank you Lauren and the Jakkal Hill crew for hosting, you did a fabulous job!!

Reunited and it feels so good! Dash went home to his forever with his breeder Melinda! Dash joined his half sister and many others in her herd that she has bred and raised and brought back home for the rest of their years!

When Dash told us he didn’t want to be a lesson pony, we listened and did what was best for him as it should always be in our industry! We can’t wait to see what they do together in the years to come.

We love you Dash! 🩵

It’s that time of the year again! Our online apparel store will be open now through October 19th! Once all of the items are complete, Alexis will pick up the entire group of items and deliver them to the barn.

Our apparel makes for great Christmas presents too and will be ready for Christmas! If you’ve got nosey kiddos at home, ask Alexis about her gift wrapping services (it’s her favorite holiday activity)!

From small to tall, Bristol has officially ridden them all!

Fun fact: Bristol was our very first student and has now ridden all 7 of our horses! Bristol horse showed all day yesterday and then asked to come clean stalls this morning, she works hard and gets to enjoy the benefits of extra saddle time for her hard work! Today Bristol got to ride Cody’s horse, Yukon, for the first time!

What a great day at the last of the Lofty Heart Stables horse show series.

To start the day, Aleigha had her best Leadline class yet, smiling, giggling, kissing to her pony to go, and winning over the judge with her pony, Daddy’s Last Dollar (Echo)!

Bristol took Calla Lily (Callie) out for her first show with us and did a clean sweep of the walk trot division to come home champion!!

Alexis and Daddy’s Last Dollar (Echo) had some great undersaddle classes placing second in both, even with Echo getting stung by a bee right before being asked to canter! Bringing home a reserve champion!

Bristol and SeekN And DreamN (Nick) had a great day among tough competition to bring home two thirds and a sixth and even lost a stirrup over fences and was commended by many for her great riding!!

Our ponies then got to come home and enjoy the afternoon outside!

It was a pony party last night! Our adults love to hop on our ponies and take them for a spin! In a fun lesson last night Katelyn rode Echo (bay) and noted how far she has come since her first ride on her a few months ago. She has really made strides cruising around small courses and Katelyn rides her so well! Nicole rode Dash (grey) for his first ride since coming home from lease. Dash was a little rockstar and really worked on his skills with Nicole and they made for a fun pair to watch!

We have something exciting to share! We officially own a pony in every size!

We would like to welcome Calla Lily aka “Callie” to our family! Callie is a 4 year old small welsh pony! She will specialize in walk trot lessons while she is still learning to canter and jump! We can’t thank Megan and Irene enough for entrusting us with this special little girl with a big future! You are already so loved little girl! 🩷
