Hello, my name is Lanie! I am absolutely a pet lover. The wide range of personalities fascinates me and their ability to find ways to communicate their wants and needs is amazing. Pets can always cheer you up and they will be the best friend you ever had.
I have been a responsible pet owner for a variety of animals over the years. Dogs, cats, squirrels, raccoons, bunnies, gerbils, hamsters, etc. If its furry and cuddly, then I just have to give it some loving. Friends and family often rely on me for their pet sitting and pet care needs, whether for a short walk or a week long vacation.
I work in pet service full time trying to make a career out of doing what I love - Working with animals! I love spending time with animals and learning their little quirks. And it doesn't hurt that it gives me more hands on experience and knowledge along with letting me work with the wide variety of personalities that each pup has.
While I have owned several animals over the years, I am currently a cat mom of 2. We like to start our day with some stretches followed by breakfast. Once they have moved around a bit they are waiting by the front door to be let out for their daily exploring adventure. They will come in throughout the day to get a little snack or a quick drink and they are on their way back out. When it starts getting dark they come inside and start playing. And of course they are getting hungry from all running around all day, so its time for dinner. After dinner they like to lay around and maybe play with their toys, but really they want to cuddle. Then at bed time they race me to the room to find a nice comfy spot on the bed to start making dough.
I have all the basics for a great play date. Food, treats, toys, cages, leashes, cleanup, and play area. There is a nice field in my neighborhood with a small creek for hours of play time and exercise. Then we can enjoy some time indoors cooling off, getting some snacks, and of course all the cuddles needed. There are also a few parks close to my house and trails at oak mountain for more exercise and play time.
