Time got away from me & I didn’t get any of my planned posts created this past week.

Note: had to adjust pry-ces to account for a more accurate breakdown of ingredient co-sts & the increase in food pry-ces.

New flavors for February/Valentine’s

Peanut Butter Jelly Time: Strawberry Banana, Raspberry Banana, Blueberry Banana, or combo of the 3!

Plus last year’s Valentines flavor Odie (blackberry cheesecake)

I discovered that I can make the peanut butter I need for the peanut butter containing dog treats myself, and not have to worry about out being able to get the right type at the store. Baking several batches today!

What resolutions are you making (if you are doing any) this year?

Nealan’s is to “wear fewer hats”
Freyja (not pictured) is to nap more
Owen (not pictured) is to bite more toes

Mine (Louisa) include building a website, going on “adventures” out of the valley & doing creative projects instead of just talking about them

And a note: every day is technically the beginning of a new year. Jan 1st isn’t the only date to make new plans or goals. And “eat as many pasta shapes as possible” is a top notch resolution, just saying.

Someone has an owie paw, so is working at the bookstore with me today! Vet appt tomorrow just to be cautious, but should be ok (I think he snagged his gimpy nail on a blanket and it’s been hurting him as a result. But getting better! He’s not favoring it as much)

Doggo check in! If your dog(s) like to play, what is their favorite toy? Nealan’s is hands down Miss Piggy who he got for his birthday! When we have morning playtime, this is his top pick. (Followed by a squeaker from inside a post toy & a squeaky plush pineapple)

Got some cheese the day of, but had to wait for payday for the toy.

Between my love of tomtar & his love of soft toys that crinkle, squeak, and double as a good tug-of-war/keep-away focal, this toy is perfect

Nealan thanks everyone who came out to any of the farmers markets this season! There is one more this upcoming Saturday that he says you should still go to, but we will not be there. Thank you so much for your support! We will continue to participate with First Fridays, and have all of Nealan’s favorite treats at the Narrow Gauge Book Cooperative!
