K & D Farm club lambs

So proud of my grandsons Case Furr and Harlen Furr Case won 1st place in the American Legion Aux Heritage Days with his Fishing boat. He is 11 years old.He competed against a 17 year old and a 15 year old and he won. Harlen won second place in his age range. Case won a Bonsai tree lego kit. Guess all the late night builds paid off. Builds could not be a Lego kit.

There is always that special lamb! Meet Buttercup birth weight was 2lbs her Mom would not take her so to the house she came. Stayed in a kennel with Roxie one of our dogs as she got bigger she had to wear dippers always sleeping with the dogs even now a dog comes up all the sheep run Buttercups loves on them when she caught up back to the barn she went. With out the help of the dogs it could not have been done. My husband was really upset when I said she has got to go to the barn, what you gonna do when she is a 250 lb ewe? Buttercup even went to Bible school.

LAMB AND GOAT Sale comning soon for our 2015 show Lambs. We have the best looking lambs
We have ever had. So keep checking back. Our auction sale will be linked to our Jack Pot show at the Stanly County Fair only those that purchase a lamb at this sale will be able to enter Jack Pot Show. This auction will be open to any sheep or goat producers there will be a fee to sale your live stock. This is where the Jack Pot will come from. This auction will be done like a show the winning lamb or goat will be sold first. We will take no more than 10 heads of live stock from one producer.Date to be set within 1 week. So keep checking back for update.

Some of our lamb crop for 2015 all are less that 1 Month old some weigh more than 30 lbs already big lambs and all will be up for sale at the age of 3 months so if you see one you like you better reserve early.

Well like I said once I got caught up someone would lamb...and guess what happened? Came down to the barn this mornin to find a set of twins on the ground, boy and girl, this makes #14 and #15, only 4 more ewes left to lamb

Got all 13 of the current lambs on the ground tagged and banded the last 2 tails, now that I'm caught up one of the other ewes will probably lamb tonight, that would be my luck lol oh well bring it on!
