🐴 Let’s talk about the poll — one of the most important junctions in your horse’s body!

The poll is where the head meets the neck, and it plays a huge role in balance, communication, and relaxation. The supraspinous ligament runs all the way from the poll to the tail head — meaning tightness anywhere in the body can show up as tension here.

When the poll is restricted, your horse might show signs like:
✨ Difficulty flexing at the poll
✨ Resistance when turning or bending
✨ Head tossing or stiffness through the neck

By helping the poll release and soften, we can often unlock relaxation through the entire body — improving comfort, movement, and connection.

Masterson method is a bodywork modality focused on releasing tension and increasing range of motion.

Top picture shows a short hind stride resulting in choppy turns and decreased power from the hind end.
