I am happy to say that Barkin” Beauty Spa is now a Fear Free Certified business. What is Fear Free Grooming? It is our team working to make sure your pup has the least stress, anxiety, and fear during their spaw day. Using positive reinforcement, such as praise, training, treats, etc, can help us make this a positive experience for you and your pet. This was such an important step for my business and I am proud! Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is having a fantastic summer. Lately, we have had an influx of no-show appointments, late appointments, and some coming in an hour early to drop off. We are very excited to see your pet, however groomers plan their day based on your dogs temperament, coat type, haircut, drying time, etc. In order to give your pet the best visit and one on one time with your groomer, please make sure pups are being dropped off at their designated appointment time. As a reminder, late or no show appointments will require an additional fee to the grooming total. Thank you!

Ms Xena was groomed by her mom at home for 12 years! Her hair was over 12 inches long, not to mention not a single tangle thanks to her wonderful mom, but with long locks comes a lot of maintenance! As Xena has aged, she prefers to spend her days napping or cuddling versus being brushed. She’s now ready to hit the park with her fluffy new cut 🐶❤️

Fun facts about JEMS & Barkin’ Beauty, I am located inside of JEMS. We are a woman owned and operated shop, in which we have our own independent businesses located inside. We are a ‘cage free’ salon, which means your pup can roam the salon as they please. We do have kennels for pups who prefer a kennel, or are not friendly with other dogs. We keep a calm, clean, and friendly environment so every dog can have a comfortable grooming experience. It is very important that we treat your pets as we treat our own. They are family here at our salon ❤️🐶

I specialize in poodles/poodle mixes, deshedding services, etc. All of my services are personalized to your pet and their needs. I use specialized shampoo and conditioner based on your pets skin and coat type, as well as work 1v1 with each pet.
When I opened my own buisness, I wanted to have the ability to connect with my furry clients and help them overcome fears/anxieties. I book based off of your pet and their needs! Our pets are our babies, and they deserve nothing but the best!
