Do you have a dog that walks you instead of the other way around ? Possibly overstimulated and they can’t walk a straight path? Just so much excitement to get out that front door?

If the answer was yes to any of these questions than I got a super easy tip for you to help fix those habits!

Now after my trick, janie is a much improved walker in a matter of minutes. She is still excited however she is more aware of her pulling and listening to my commands more intently. I am not holding the Leah’s very tight, she is by my side, not darting in different directions. Just look at the difference!

—the trick is taking their leash , wrapping it under their belly and back around to the top. This technique causes pressure on the lower belly, that does not hurt them, which causes her to be more aware of her pulling. Eventually associating pulling with that discomfort. —

This is Janie, as you can tell in the video, she darts from one way to another. Just so many sounds, smells, and things to see for her, causing her to not focus. Which is normal ! However, being able to wlan jaine without her pulling her owners arm outta socket would be a nice improvement.

I think it’s safe to say that the opening of the toy box is their favorite part of the morning ☀️🐶 -love having an abundance of toys for our doggie boarders, they enjoy them so much !
