I have bad news for the friends of Buffy. She went in for surgery for Anna because she eaten something that she shouldn’t have and well when they started the surgery her heart started fibrillating I think is the word and they did everything they could to get it to stop, and then she died. And my heart is broken and I can’t stop crying. She was 11 years old and BeBop seems to be mourning her departure. He was looking for her earlier.

 BeBop was taking a nap when the sound of rolling thunder right overhead woke him up and pi**ed him off! He’s pretty fierce until it’s time to get a cookie😄

Buffy started this. Now she’s getting tired but she keeps going. She used to be able to T-bone him and send him rolling through the grass but he’s too big for that now.😆😆

BeBop has gotten very brave and now can jump up on the couch. He and Buffy get one seat I get the other one. Buffy is a good girl and shares her space.❤️

UPDATE 4/11 BUFFY IS HOME!!❤️😄

This morning I went to visit Buffy, and at the request of the vet I brought along some boiled chicken and some boiled rice. Turns out she’s a gourmet. She does not like the “slop@ (her words, not mine that they are serving. So I got out the chicken and rice, and I made the mistake of hand feeding her and so of course, then she didn’t want to actually have to feed herself so she would just stare at me until I picked up another piece of chicken. She tried the rice - which was boiled in the same water the chicken was boiled in - and decided it was poisonous and wouldn’t touch it. Fortunately, the vet said she is p*eing like a champion and now is eating like a gourmet and she could go home. So I took her home. She’s been sleeping on the couch got down once the P went back to bed . She got up when she heard the mixer grinding up chicken and rice. So she very happily ate a slurry of chicken and rice, which I hope will be easier for her to digest. Oh BeBp got a little too.

Bebop bebop was so happy she was home. He couldn’t stop running around in circles for about 10 minutes.

UPDATE 4/10 I went to visit Buffy today. She was not a happy camper. She wanted to get out of there. But she would not eat. She would ndo drin. She would not p*e and her abdomen was hard as a rock. I pointed out the stomach issue, and the technician took her back into the back and the vet did a quick ultrasound and reported back that it was her bladder. So I had the tech takeoff her conehead and we walked outside and within just a couple minutes she found a suitable place for a princess to p*e and boy did she p*e forever practically. And then we walked on a little more and then she found another good place and Peed again. So we went back inside and she wanted to drink so we got her some water but she still didn’t really want to eat. So I’m going back in tomorrow with some boiled chicken and some rice and see if she’ll eat that she can’t come home if she was not eating.

Buffy is spending the night. All day yesterday she was making the Ive got to throw up noise and vomiting bile. I had an appointment scheduled already for today so I took her in. She usually loves going to the vet. She makes friends with everybody there. But today she just wanted to lay in my lap. She was a very flat little ball terrier not eating not drinking.

Anyway, the vet did lab work and and had the x-rays read by a radiologist and appears that she has been eating bits of her blanket unbeknownst to me and has a blockage of some sort. So now she is spending the night at the emergency room and they will monitor should be getting fluids and they’ll do another x-ray tomorrow to see if the blockage is passing or not, if it doesn’t pass, then she has to have surgery. I think she felt a little better by the end of the visit because she was starting to become her usual social butterfly, but she still was kind of flat and she still wasn’t eating or drinking so she spending the night.

You can trust a bull terrier to find the warmest spot in the yard. The temp was 54, good enough for sunbathing!❤️. This is BeBop

What we do durable a thunderstorm. BeBop and Money actually woke up long enough to look out the front door for a few seconds.

I’m actually kind of glad that Monet is now nearly defe so the thunder no longer terrorizes her.

I was getting ready to feed the dogs so I told the Bs to go to bed. They ran to their crates and threw themselves in. Monet had been napping in Buffy’s crate woke to the view of Buffy’s face blaming towards her.

Today is old lady doctor visit day.

BUffy enjoys the vet. She gets a lot attention, kisses, and petting . Waiting for Monet, however, is borou. Also, there were no cookies.

Monet is scared and anxious. She paced constantly, pausing to sniff at a
the Gates of Hell. Also, there were no cookies.

I went to my appointment too. There were no cookies.

BeBop will be home in a week!! Monet is not thrilled. Buffy is glad to have her playmate back. I need to buy a recliner love seat so we have room for us all.
