Today Matt and I dressed up the historic Doc Tilton House in those glorious colors of America.
Red, White, and Blue.
A bit of vintage flair with our flags of yesteryear and tea-stained bunting create the perfect look for this old house. 23 N. Jefferson. Beautiful in its simple and classic style.
Just perfectly blending in with the patriotic dress of our little charming town, Nashville. The red, white and blue colors fly large and proud, tucked all around in every nook and corner. The summer look is beautifully worn here in Nashville and takes everyone back to a simpler time in America’s history.
As the sun set, I snagged a few photos of this grand old dame we now call home.
And as I stand outside looking upon my home, I reflect on how fortunate we are to live in this Land of freedom. Despite life’s challenges and world issues, we do indeed live in….as these song lyrics sing out….in the greatest land of all.
I am thankful to be an American,
To live in the greatest land of all.
In a nation blessed, it's the very best,
I can stand with my head up tall.
I am thankful to be an American,
To be born in a land that's free.
I am thankful to God for allowing me to be,
An American.
And yes, I am thankful. God bless America.
