Salutations! We are settling in nicely at our new location inside the shop of Mandala Elemental Wonders! In partnership with our friends we will be launching an educational series of posts titled “ Functional herb Fridays” !

This will be an educational and informative way that you can integrate herbs that are at the shop and you can put into your dog or cats daily routine for optimal health . Look for our first post on this Friday October 31st !

In the U.S., there are an estimated 232,000 cases of pet poisoning every year, according to WebMD Pet Health Center. Most of these poisonings can be prevented by educating pet owners.

Common dog poisons:
Chocolate
Rodenticides
Anti-inflammatory medications
Xylitol (sugar-free gum)
Grapes and raisins
Antidepressant medications
Acetaminophen (Tylenol)
Vitamin D preparations
Metaldehyde (found in slug and snail baits)
Blue-green algae (BGA)
Ibuprofen is one of the most common causes of poisoning in dogs — the Pet Poison Helpline receives more than 4,000 calls concerning ibuprofen each year.

Signs of poisoning :
Anxiousness, Elevated body temperature, Panting, and Staggering, just to name a few.
