Picture 1: This is Miley on the day her owner brought her to a shelter. She didn't know where she came or that he would leave her, she was just happy to be with him.

Picture 2: This is Miley after a few days when she realized she was abandoned and that her beloved owner would not come back for her. She didn't eat properly and would often rest her head on the wall.

People have no idea what they are doing to pets by leaving them. Don't leave your pets. Be a responsible Pet owner or just don't have a pet……PERIOD

A dog smells like :
Gratitude...
Loyalty...
nobility...
Honey...
Pure and Unconditional Love...💜

and despite all they have suffered they don't smell a grudge....
So...

I feel blessed

Dogs DO NOT belong in an open bed of a pickup, especially in the dead of summer (or winter). Not only is it extremely dangerous for the dog to be ejected, jump, or get hit with debris, but the heat pounding down on the dog with no protection and hot metal all around is an extremely ignorant move!!!

CONNECTICUT LAW: Sec. 14-272b. Transport of dogs in pick-up trucks. Restrictions. No person operating a pick-up truck, as defined in section 14-1, on a public highway of this state shall transport a dog in the open rearward compartment of the pick-up truck unless the dog is secured in a cage or other container or otherwise protected or secured in such a manner as to prevent the dog from being thrown or falling or jumping from the pick-up truck.
