For some reason, my post about Rosa last week had gotten taken down. Rosa had been attacked and had a lot of damage to her jaw. I’m happy to say that she is doing wonderful and you would never know here’s a quick update.

🤍 It’s with deep HEARTACHE that I write this. My (Pa-like grandpa )Neal lost his battle after Dr’s confirmed his cancer had came back and went to rest with the Lord 🕊️ . He was 80 years old. He passed peacefully and without pain. He’s the maker behind Dixieland Dachshunds, the person who started it ALL over 20 years ago. He’s the reason I raise them today. For the past 13 years we have raised dachshunds together. Most of my dogs now are from him or their linage.
It just won’t be the same. I know so many people have his puppies and he was so proud of those babies! Please send some prayers our way for his wife Linda, and everyone who knew him. He will be missed beyond measure.
We would have breakfast at Cracker Barrel usually 2-3 days a week before he got too sick. The next several days please give me grace if I don’t respond asap. We’re trying to process our loss 🤍🤍🕊️🕊️
I hope you’re up there with all of your old doxies and you’re surrounded by love 🫶🏼

Wooohooo!! AKC agent came out to do their pop up inspections and we got a 100% pass ( I wasn’t too worried).
He said our dogs were well cared for and looked great! All their microchips, paperwork and litters were where they needed to be and were clean and well kept. This means a lot to me that someone else especially AKC likes how our dogs are cared for. 🐾🐾
