Flyball is controlled chaos on so many levels. From a photographers point of view, you don't get many shots that don't have any clutter of some kind (other people/dogs, equipment, random stuff, ect) in the background. I was so excited when I went through my images to find this one- a quiet background but still an intense image! You are able to really focus on just the dog. There are many other images I enjoyed from the tournament, but this one really takes the win.

The Winter Retreat flyball tournament pictures are up! There were some preflight dogs that I was unsure of which team they belonged to so those images are in the NCA folder. Please remember, I always to my best to get images of all the dogs/teams but with running my own dog, I do miss some races. I hope everyone enjoys the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them 🤍

Emma says the new studio space is approved and we are finally ready for indoor studio sessions!

What a great year 2024 was! Getting to photograph so many amazing dogs has been a dream come true. I feel so completely blessed to have had the opportunity to shoot so many different events.

What do you do on a Sunday in December? Photograph mounted shooting of course!

What an experience this was! Being indoors with minimal lighting and extra smoke made things interesting and pushed me to develop new editing skills.

I had the perfect morning shooting for some fabulous people and their dogs! More to come tomorrow, but here is a sneak peek of one absolutely adorable puppy! Oberon was a great model and so fun to shoot. Can't wait to share more!

Its wild how lighting can change an entire photoshoot so much! First image was taken about 15 minutes before the second without any sun shining down on us. Emma was the best model - I think fall is definitely her season!
