"Keri has been a hands-on groomer for 4 years. She is 24 years old and graduated with an FFA (Future Farmers of America) Young Leader Scholarship from the Kutztown Area School District. Keri groomed at Hometown Pet Center before returning to Dr. Karen’s Critter Care where she now works full time! She is certified in 15 dog coat types, puppy handling, and brusher/bathing. She has furthered her education by taking courses such as dog breed skin assessment, canine massaging, and K9 CPR. Keri also specializes in matted and more difficult dogs. She loves all breeds but has a soft spot for German Shepherds and Pit Bulls. She owns her own horse named Rambo, and in her free time she loves to ride and participate in rodeos. Being the Historian in FFA, Keri has learned many things about animals. Even now, she attends the latest grooming expos where she can further her education and gain more experience in the industry. Keri has always had a passion for animals and being creative, and dog grooming has given her the opportunity to do both."
