This is a 3 year old gelding that I had the opportunity to start, this horse was probably the hardest horse I have started but he really came around and made a nice horse and has been a fun one to ride. After the first of the year I will have a couple of spots open for outside horses, if you are interested in getting a young one started, a older one tuned up or taking one to the next step in it's training shoot me a message and I would be happy to answer any questions or give you a call.

As the end of 2023 is upon us I would like to say thank you to all of my clients from this past year and prior years whether you sent me a horse to be started, tuned up or purchased a horse from me. If you are looking to get a 2-4 year old started or needing one tuned up please get a hold of me and see if what I have to offer fits you and your horses needs.

When I start a horse I believe it is very important to give that horse a solid foundation so they can carry that with them their whole life and hopefully help them excel in whatever they might be used for. I also like to get these horses to where they are as safe as possible so the owner feels comfortable on and around them so they can step right on them and move forward with them when they go home.

When I have a horse come in for a tune up I like to ask the owner what issues they are having with the horse so that I can try to fix them and any other problems that I might find along the way. The more I know about a horse and where you want your horse to be when it comes back the better I can help you and your horse.

I also try to buy and sell a few of my own throughout the year also as I have done for many years now. These horses get used for many different tasks on the ranch and used in the arena. Before I sell a horse I try to show them as many things as possible and get to know them so I can tell the buyer as many things as possible about the horse so that it is hopefully a good fit for both the horse and rider.

I always tell my clients if they have any questions or issues with a horse they have sent me or purchased from me to please feel free to give me a call or text so I can do my best to help. I am looking forward to riding some horses for repeat customers and meeting new customers for the 2024 year.

SOLD. 3 year old filly, she has had some ground work done, been saddled, picks up feet, stands tied, loads in the trailer. The only bad habit she has is that she will paw sometimes. Take her home and do a little work with her and she will be ready for a job in no time. Owner doesn't need her anymore so she is for sale $3000 obo.

If anyone is in the market for a horse I have anything from yearlings to 11 year olds for sale geldings and mares. Everything has papers priced from $2500 on up. SOLD. Betty is a 5 year old mare out of an own son of peppy San badger I do not have her papers right now but I have all the paperwork to get them and it will cost $500 I will guarantee her papers if someone buys her before I get them back, I have posted a picture of the stud and mares papers. Betty got a late start no fault of her own and has 60 days on her, she is starting to watch a cow pretty good and rides around really soft and light this horse is one of the smoothest and most natural moving horses I've rode. She has a good start and is ready to take in any direction you want to, picks up both leads, gets gates, has a big stop, swung a rope off her and drug the tire around her and has been outside across the hills and creeks. I am now looking to book more outside horses for the month of May forward. I will start 2-3 year olds or tune up older horses. I have a good setup indoor and outdoor, horses will also be day worked on dragging calves, doctoring cattle outside, loading out cattle, sorting cattle and many other things when they are ready for a job. SOLD! 09 model gelding he isn't fancy broke but you can do any job you want to on him, people from the age of 13-65 have rode him. He stands 15.3 and is gentle and easy to be around. I do have videos if someone is interested, located at Alta Vista KS. $5500 obo

SOLD! Twister is a nice 4 year old mare I have for sale. She has done most everything on the ranch including doctoring outside, drug about 30 calves, sorted pairs, gathering and loading out yearlings. She has a big stop and will watch a cow and is super gentle to be around she is the kind that anyone should be able to get along with. Videos upon request.
