Looking for a best friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin? Meet Beau, a 5-year old Lab/Shepherd mix with a sweet soul and a heart full of love.
Beau is the ultimate companion — loyal, house-trained, healthy, and happiest when he's with his people. He’ll follow you from room to room, always keeping an eye on the ones he loves most.
Though naturally a bit timid and anxious, Beau warms up with gentle patience and blossoms into a devoted shadow. He’s eager to please and would thrive with training, enrichment activities, or even agility exercises — anything that challenges his clever mind and keeps his body moving.
He does best in a calm home with adults or older children who can respect his space and help him feel safe. He’s not a fan of loud noises like fireworks or thunder, but give him a sunny spot to bask in and the quiet company of someone he trusts, and he’s in his happy place.
Beau can be reactive on leash around other dogs, but gets along well with calm, confident pups who communicate clearly. He’s not a fit for homes with other reactive dogs or small children, but for the right person or family, he’ll be the most loyal companion you could ask for.

Today we celebrate the whiskered friends who rule our hearts and homes. 😽😽😽
They are the fortunate ones. Give your precious feline friends an extra cuddle, yummy treats and more quality time today.

Dear Somebody,

I've been in the Rock Springs Animal Control Shelter for 114 days now. I've seen so many dogs come and go, but never me.

The shelter staff and volunteers are nice. They feed me and give me treats every day, but it's just not the same as a home. I'm not sure what it would be like to have a forever home because I've been surrendered twice now.

I know I'm not a perfect dog, but I have so much love to offer. Maybe one day my dream of a forever home will come true, but for now I just wait.

*Annie is just over 3.5 years old. She is spayed and fully vaccinated. Annie does not do well with smaller animals due to her prey drive. Annie would really love a home with a comfy bed and someone who will take her on walks and feed her lots of treats. Please help us by sharing Annie so we can help her find a forever home.
