Yesterday a special little girl arrived in RWL.
Her name is Minerva.

She is approximately 12 years young and the sweetest Jack Russell you could ever imagine.

She has a few issues such as dental disease, but her main problem is she has very, very raw feet.

We have started testing to find out the cause and treatment of bacteria (the feet are infected) so it will be a little while before we can get her healing and comfortable.

We have run bloods, and done a heartworm test (negative) and started her on some mite prevention but her heart is good, and her ears and eyes are great, and we hope that she will become a healthy and happy little girl with treatment.

We depend on donations to rescue beautiful dogs like Chance. His care cost us thousands. We rescued him from the Long Beach Animal Shelter after he was scheduled to be euthanized

Fresno California, this little guy was left abandoned in a park. Please 🙏🏽 share for a home. He deserves a real life with parents that love him

Parker.
He’s an older boy about 7 or so years. Super sweet!
Was living at a picnic area by a lake until somone could not leave him there after knowing he’d been there for at month or more .
Parker has been vetted and had a dental.
He saw that his buddy, Duncan. Found a home for the holidays and was hoping he’d be next.

Dog walker leaves one final note after taking senior pittie on her last walk 🥹

“It is with a heavy heart, but great honor, that I get to write the last review for Alison,” Seth wrote. “To know Al was a privilege. The happiest old lady who had every reason to be miserable. When I took the job walking Alison, I intended for it to just be a job. That did not last long. Her infectious personality quickly melted my heart and the hearts of anyone who got to know her. We formed a bond I will forever be grateful for. There was one thing I could always count on, and that would be countless tail wags the second she saw me open the door. She was there with me during some of the most stressful times, using her calming personality to be therapeutic. A truly once-in-a-lifetime dog, she will be missed in the hearts of everyone who knew her. I loved Al and every second I got to spend with her.”
