I’m so proud of Brutus! He is making great progress with the choices he is making around dogs. He is happily greeting new dogs both inside and outside. When he is outside his interactions are very playful and light. Inside his tolerance level is much lower. This makes total sense, in a more confined area dogs can feel like they have less of an option to make a good decision. Brutus is showing me that he has great potential, I am thrilled to see his progress so far and excited about his future progress!

Brutus has been with me for about one week now. Over this past week Brutus has shown me who he is, his likes and dislikes, and most of all how full of life he is! His happy place is outside, he loves to roll around in the snow and overlook the creek and field below my property, like Mufasa on pride rock. He has begun to show some play drive with me which I will be working to get him to further express this as it will make a great outlet for him and teach him to respect boundaries. While I have had to address a few instances where he challenged me, Brutus has shown me that he has a lot of potential. This coming week I will be continuing to introduce Brutus to new situations and teach him to appropriately interact with the world. ❤️
