If you put her in a cage….she cries the whole time. Yet, when the cage door is open…she sits in it 😂😂 Monday morning update with Turtle.

Every single morning Turtle waits for us to get here and sits in front of this cage until we let her in it so she can rub all over it and watch out over her kingdom until everyone arrives for the day. Anyone else have a kitty with strange habits? 😂🐾 👑

No snow days for us! We are still open normal business hours. Call us today to get your pets in!

Is your dog on heartworm preventative monthly? If not, this is what can happen!! These are baby heart worms that develop from a single mosquito bite and will eventually grow much larger and can lead to death. This disease is so so easy to prevent by giving one tablet a month but extremely expensive to treat! Treatment is several months of cage rest and a couple injections that go deep in the muscle.You cannot find these parasites in a stool sample as they live in the heart! Looking closely at this video you can see one of the baby worms wiggling around amidst red blood cells. This is our first heartworm positive dog of this year, so please don’t think your animals won’t get it. It is around this area even in times of the year you aren’t expecting.

This is prior to being intubated for a surgery. The soft palate is so big and floppy it is covering the airway. When you hear them make those funny snoring noises or turn blue easily when excited, this is why!!! Very cool to see up close. This is the reason bulldogs have such trouble breathing. Good news is there a surgery that can fix it!. #thestruggleisreal.
