River and Blake earned River's DSX2 today at The Dog Tank's Polar Plunge. What else are you going to do with windchills hovering around -25°?
He did learn that maybe mom and Kyle are right and she's a bit overweight. Her jumps were about 2ft shorter than normal. A good reminder to pay attention to what he is feeding her and what she actually needs this time of year. Zoe jumped well. She's been throwing in an extra leap before the end of the dock so we have some work to do to train her back out of that habit. She started after a couple bad slips and is overcompensating.

Today a very nice lady reached out to me because she recently lost her 14+ year old Golden and is looking for one around 6 years old. I told her we are still enjoying all of our dogs and just can't give any up right now. If anyone knows of a female that meets this dicription please reach out to me and I'll give you her information. She has been approved by RAGOM but they do not have one to fit her needs at this time.

Macey is 14 1/2 this month!!! (Yes we celebrate half Birthdays at this age) she is still the big ball of personality she was at 3.....I pray she has many many more Birthdays ahead! She is getting so gray we think her goal is to turn completely white!

I didn't forget, but the human child has us crazy busy! On September 30th Kacey and our 2013 littler turned 10!!! Happy Birthday crew!!! She's starting to get a little gray in the face, but can still outrun most of the pack to get to the ball first!! The most snuggly ball of floof there ever was 😍

Everyone is excited to be here....Blake will have a total of 3 splashes per dog tomorrow. Check in is at 8am so we are going to bed early tonight so everyone is well rested!

When Zoe first came back to us her swimming skills were lacking so we have always had her wear a life jacket. She is swimming like a pro now so we may try to have her jump without it this week!

OK we first have to say a belated Birthday to our 2019 Litter! Happy 4th Birthday to River and Crew.....we didn't forget but it's been a busy week! Kyle and I got married yesterday, Esox was our ring bearer and did his job perfectly!!!

We were able to get some splashes is a couple weeks ago. Both Girls were jumping a little short of normal after a long break....but we are all a little out of shape right now. We are taking a less is more approach this season with the girls already having thier invites. We will still be heading to Regionals and Nationals this fall.

Macey will be turning 14 in April. She may not see as well (or hear for that matter) as she used to but she can still get around AND LOVES TO PLAY WITH HER BALL!! Age is just a number....but she's still doing good for an oldie goldie!!🥰🥰

Zoe and Blake are the Junior Handler National Champions!!! I couldn't be more proud of these dogs and this kid! It was definitely Zoe's year....as River keeps inching forward she could be the queen next season!

Zoe came in 3rd Place in the Open Senior Distance Division out of 105 Dogs at the NADD National Championship!! We are still awaiting the Junior Handler Awards!

We are on Finals Day at the NADD NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!! ZOE finished in 6th place and is in today's Finals! River just missed it and came in 11th place! She was just 1 inch short!! We had 105 Dogs entered in our Division. Blake will also compete with BOTH dogs in the Junior Handler National Championship today!!! Think big jumps for us!!!

Well we are back from Regionals and fun was had by all!! River hit a new Personal Best every time she hit the Dock and Zoe also got a new Personal Best and her first Master Leg at 20'2" River was right behind her at 19'4" Blake is now Qualified for Nationals with BOTH Girls for the Junior Handler Division and we wait to see if we made the cut in open. We need to land in the top 25% after all Regionals are competed.

In case anyone remembers "Ed" our little stump tail pup he is still quite the character 🤣 He lives at the farm I board my Horse at 5 minutes from our house and I LOVE seeing him all the time!
