Having a little co-pilot a training horse is an important step we like to take. It allows us to see how the horse does when given signals that might not be crystal clear. Tipping a post checks our desensitization and my oh my what a good boy he is 🥰.

I’ve said it before but I’ll say it every day, we have the best workers…. This morning when Zach woke Audra for the trail ride, Burt popped right up and asked to ride too. I already had a sweet co-pilot and was about to say no, instead I said I’d check if Olivia would be able to take him with her. She kindly agreed and made little Burt’s day. Next step, is him independently steering his own pony on the trail 😊. Also, Dave was a perfect gentleman for Audra ❤️.

Scheduling Update Sunday, October 5th – Sunday, October 12th:
Sunday the 5th: 1 hour group lesson 1pm with 3 openings. Tiny Tot sessions with 1 opening at 1 pm and 1 opening 1:45 pm (cost $30/rider).

Monday: 1 hour group lesson 4:00 pm (cost $35/rider)
Campfire ride 5:15 pm (cost $35/rider, activities include arena ride and short trail ride).

Tuesday: 7:30 am Sunrise ride (cost $35/rider, includes snack and beverage).
Tiny Tot sessions with 2 openings 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 2:15 pm (cost $30/rider)
1 hour group lesson 4:00 pm (cost $35/rider)
Campfire ride 5:15 pm (cost $35/rider, activities include arena ride and short trail ride).

Wednesday: Tiny Tot session with 2 openings 11:30 am (cost $30/rider)
4 hour camp 1pm – 5pm (cost $70/rider, appropriate for ages 7 to adult).
5:15pm campfire ride ($35/rider, ride includes arena ride and short trail portion).

Thursday: 7:30 am Sunrise ride (cost $35/rider, includes snack and beverage).
Tiny Tot session with 2 openings at 10:30 am and 11:30 am (cost $30/rider)
1 hour lesson with openings 2:30 pm and 4:00pm (cost $35/rider)
Campfire ride 5:15pm (cost $35/rider, ride includes arena ride and short trail portion).

Friday: Garfield Recreation area trail ride 8:00 am (cost $50/rider, must have ridden at Dizzy Jay Farm previously to attend).
Saturday: As always we are CLOSED and Danae’s phone will be off.

Sunday the 12th: Garfield Recreation Trail Ride 8:00 am (cost $50/rider, must have ridden at Dizzy Jay Farm previously to attend). 1 hour group lessons with openings 11:30 am, 1:00 pm, and 4:00pm (cost $35/rider)
