We are ready to share something eggcellent! PM if you're local!
🥚$4/doz. Unwashed farm eggs (stable on counter)
🥚$5/doz. Washed eggs (to be stored in the fridge)

We have been raising our chickens for almost a year now. Never did I think I would love chickens, but I can't seem to get enough of my ladies! The eggs are a great reward too. These chickens are free range, and family loved.

We unfortunately decided to avoid the market today and instead focus on fighting colds the kids have. We all seem to be on the mend, thank God.

We are all still enjoying our microgreens, especially the nutrition they offer during this time of healing.

My salad today is a beautiful sight including radish, sunflower and our newest variety MUSTARD 😍🤤

Mustard microgreens start off mild followed by a mustard taste and ends spicy.. almost reminiscent of wasabi. I think I've found my new favorite!🌱🌿🍃

We used red cabbage microgreens in place of adult cabbage, much easier to eat and prep, great flavor and delicious to look at!

More than 1 food post in a day? Damn right, just making up for lost time. Too good to hold back!

Lunch at Pearson Patch: Iowa raised steak fajitas with radish microgreens 🌮🌱 and Eric Pearson's Arson Sauce.🔥😋

We used garden fresh tomatoes from our backyard garden, and Greek yogurt in place of sour cream.

The only thing missing is lime and a corona, but we're responsible and don't drink before happy hour.. most days!

We regretfully inform you, we will miss the Maxwell Market on 8/8. We unfortunately lost our crops for this weekend😔. This is terrible news we did not see coming.

It would not be a small business without some hiccups though. We are working hard and will update as soon as we have our next batch. The whole family is missing our greens, as I know you are too!

Yes, we will miss you too, but we decided to take the next 2 weekends off, away from the market.

We felt, in the next 2 weeks, it's necessary to focus on family [the littles you've seen at the stand], the home, and finish much needed upgrades to the grow space to ultimately benefit you, our customers!

In the meantime, if you have grow requests and want to order microgreens for the weekend of August 7th we are happy to get those started for you💚🍃🌱

We have really enjoyed being at the Maxwell's Market in the Park . I had the pleasure of meeting a fellow vendor, Joygrow . When he told me that he grew mushrooms, I knew that my wife would love to try them so we grabbed a few from him and tried them out. Now I'll tell you, I am not a big fan of mushrooms. To be honest I've never really eaten them. But I tried the lions mane tonight and I am ready to give mushrooms a chance. These varieties are really cool and new to me. Here are some pictures I took.
