The Dove Hill IEA Team wrapped up their first regular season last weekend!
Congratulations to all our riders for showing off all you’ve learned this season and laying down fantastic rides. We’re so proud of you all!
The High School Team finished Reserve Champion once again, qualifying the team for Regionals.
Our Individual Qualifiers include:
⭐️ Nora Robbins - Open Flat (HS)
⭐️ Zoie Fox - Intermediate Flat (HS)
⭐️ Karina Williams - Novice Over Fences and Flat (MS)
⭐️ Keira Bailey - Novice Flat (MS)
⭐️ Quinn Robbins - Walk/Trot (MS)
Thank you to Autumn Sky for hosting a great final show of the season. Thank you to our parents and barn friends for always coming out to support and provide hot chocolate and hand warmers on those cold days!

We have so many results to catch up on!
First, a couple weeks ago the team split up for a very cold, but great day of showing.
Nora Robbins and Nino went down to River Wind to get an early start on points for the NHS and USHJA medals. Thank you to Dawson Amick and the River Wind team for helping these two to great ribbons, including a 🥇 in the Open Equitation over fences.
The rest of the team headed to the Whishmaker IEA show where everyone had nice rides!

We are so sad to share that our beloved barn cat Moonie passed away on Saturday afternoon.
Moonie was so much more than your average barn cat. He was born in the park across the street from the farm where the previous property owners found him as a kitten. He spent his nearly 17 years of life roaming the property, doing his best work as a barn cat while also being the most kind, friendly cat to all that entered the barn.
Moonie was everyone’s favorite cat and he will be missed by everyone that knew him. We would love to hear from the many people who loved him so much to hear their favorite Moonie stories, and maybe some old photos to celebrate the long life he lived on the farm. It certainly won’t be the same without him here. 💜

Our IEA team had their first horse show ever yesterday and it was a huge success!
Team and Overall Highlights Include:
⭐️ High School Overall Reserve Champion
⭐️ Middle School Overall Reserve Champion
🐴 Enzo was named Horse of The Day

Thank you to Evenstride for hosting such a great horse show and to all those who brought such wonderful horses to the show.

We would like to congratulate Nora Robbins and Nino on a fabulous first 3’ equitation final last week at the Massachusetts Horsemen’s Council Days of Champions.
Nora and Nino finished 10th in the 15-17 Equitation and had a beautiful trip in the medal.

We’re so lucky to have a great group of horse-loving staff at the farm.
Madie Janik, who has been with us for a year and a half, took a trip to Iceland last week where she got to ride Icelandic Horses. We’re just happy she was willing to leave this beautiful spot to come back and work for us. 😉

Dove Hill had a wonderful first time at the Downeast Medal Finals last weekend!

⭐️ Olivia Felizardo and Timing’s Everything placed well in the Special Child/Adult Classes before taking 🥈in the $1,250 Port Harbor Marine 2’ Hunter Derby and 🥈 in the Downeast Mini Medal.

⭐️ Brianna Proulx-Walter and Timing’s Everything also had good ribbons in the Adult Equitation prior to finishing 11th in the $2,500 Copious Solutions/Mason “Noah” Dixon 2’6 Hunter Derby and 5th in the Downeast Amateur Adult Medal.

⭐️ Ryen McDaniel rode our very own Up, Up & Away to 🥈 in the $1,500 American National 2’3 Hunter Derby, securing 🥇 in the $500 Blue Seal Hunter Futurity.

⭐️ Lauren Edwards rode Dove Hill’s Rio Cacique to 6th in the 2’6 Hunter Derby as well as 🥈 in the Downeast Amateur Adult Medal.

⭐️ We would also like to congratulation Parker Hemeon and CMS Jemima Puddle Duck on their success in the Walk/Trot ring, including 5th in the Downeast Walk/Trot Poles Medal.

Thank you to our clients for a fabulous time, Brianna for being our groom extraordinaire, and most importantly, our horses for making the weekend such a huge success. Thank you to Downeast for running such a great show. We’re already looking forward to next year!
