Flinn and Teddy, left outside after their owner was evicted. I got the call and brought the boys home with me. After being processed through the shelter, they were adopted (thanks to Facebook) and are now living their best life ❤️ Their adopter has other cats, so was a bit nervous how everyone would do. Well, look at the picture on the right. It’s just amazing.

Someone please come adopt this sweet little angel. Daffodil is a 6 month old kitten. This little girl shouldn’t be alone in a cage, and out there with humans and other cats! I think she would love a feline friend to have as a buddy, and even better, a family of her own. Please consider coming to meet her. She has the best personality and just wants to be loved!

Four years ago today on Halloween night, I was walking from my car into my apartment, and this little black cat is running down my street. Thankfully I had just stopped and gotten food, so got her to turn around. I had just started volunteering at TLC, and following being surrendered to the main shelter, she made her way to our store. I begged my bf and somehow got him to agree. She’s surprisingly the only cat from the store I’ve kept ❤️ One of my first rescues.

My prayers have been answered!!! Vision and Houdini are both FELV positive and ended up becoming best buddies. They’ve been there for months and the day finally happened. This is so special.

🥰🥰🥰OUR NEW HEROS!!!! Came in for one snuggly baby and left with the two most amazing cats ever!! This OUTSTANDING family couldn’t resist our love bug Houdini and when they saw how great he was with his mate, Vision, they knew they needed both! Vision is adoption #507 and Houdini is #508! 😍😍😍😍😍😍

Thanks again to the power of social media, Midnight was spared moving again and going back into a cage, where she had been really having a hard time. She was adopted by an amazing family and she will get all the love and attention she desperately needs!

Our sweet Ginny girl was adopted this evening. Ginny lived a life of suffering and pain on the streets of Buffalo. I met Ginny a while back while I was at a property trying to trap, and was brought to tears at the conditions these cats were in. This poor girl was sick and pregnant and starving, living under a porch. We stayed until 11 PM trying to help her and even had the police called on us. We had to leave her and that’s never an easy decision. I didn’t realize until yesterday that she was the pregnant cat I had met that night. She was thankfully rescued and spared from an awful life. Ginny will never suffer again, and has two amazing parents who will love and cherish her.

Poor Midnight is so starved for attention and I have to bring her back to the store and put her in a cage. She has a really hard time being so would love if someone was able to adopt her before she goes back to the store. She is, without a doubt, the sweetest girl ever. She is also good with other cats and it’s just so incredibly loving.

Midnight is having a really hard time being caged/crated, so hope the right person sees this!

Midnight, age one (I suspect younger, still acts like a kitten) cannot get enough love and attention. She is literally all over you and is such a sweet and affectionate girl! She came from a home with 18 cats and the tenants were being evicted. Who knows what would’ve happened.

Midnight was at our store for a few days, and we watched her spirit completely change. Some cats have a harder time than others.

Unfortunately Midnight got a respitiry infection, so came home with me so I could treat her. I’ve had her crated and she’s going out of her mind. I feel so bad for her.

Midnight can return to the store tomorrow if anyone is willing to come meet her. She does get along well with other cats!

Olive needs a hero!

Olive is a beautiful 2.5 year old dilute calico female. She was adopted back in August and returned shortly after due to issues that were not displayed while she was in our care.

Unfortunately, Olive was having inappropriate deification in her home which the adopter was not prepared for. Once she was returned to our shelter, our vet team started her on a new limited, grain-free diet with the hopes it would improve the issue. Even with this change, Olive continues to use the litter outside of the box, but sometimes uses the box. Our vet team also tried FortiFlora, Metronidazole and did f***l floats and giardia tests that came back clear.

Unfortunately this may be a lifelong issue for Olive, through no fault of her own. We are unsure if it is stress related or further medical issues. Despite this, she still deserves a loving home just like any other cat. Our hope is that we can find this sweet girl an adopter who is willing to work with her and possibly find out the reason for this issue through a private vet with more resources.

Olive’s adoption fee is by donation — anything the adopter is able to give. Ten Lives Club will provide food, litter and medication for the first 6 months until a personal vet is established. TLC staff is happy to help transition this sweet girl into her new home. TLC recommends the adopter take Olive to be established at a personal vet for further examination and treatment.
