Noodle's Story 🥏🐾
When Noodle was just two months old, she was found on the side of the road, paralyzed and alone. Fortunately, she was taken in by the Everett Animal Shelter, where her journey towards a new life began.
Noodle's story quickly spread on social media, creating a positive buzz in the community. Many people applied to adopt her, but one application stood out.
"We fell hard for her as soon as we saw the video they posted on socials. We were the shelter's first call. The reason? In our letter, we wrote about how, as physical therapists, we would work hard, her whole lifetime, to adapt her needs so that she can live a full doggy lifestyle."
And that’s exactly what they did. "We wanted her to experience it all. Hiking, walks, camping trips, swimming, and of course, fetch. Fast forward 7 years, and she has lived all those experiences. And still is. Her Walkin’ Pets scooter is how we accomplish 6-mile hikes, cross-country skiing, catching frisbees in mid-air, and casual evening walks with our family."
Noodle’s journey is a testament to the power of love, determination, and the right support. "We are so grateful to Everett Animal Shelter for their love of Noodle and to Walkin' Pets for making a quality product that lasts and can be adapted as her needs change."

Meet Gracie-Pig, a three-legged rescue pup who is living out her golden years with grace in her wheels. ✨
"Hi my name is gracie-pig & I am a 3 legged rescue dog! I am around 9 or 10 years old. I'm a Staffy crossbreed and I have many hooman servants to run about after me since being rescued 9 years ago. I was abandoned on a busy main road with a broken leg, a kind man picked me up and took me to the vets and I had to have an operation to remove my leg as it had been broken too long, so there was no other option! My pawrents saw me, fell in love and decided they wanted to foster me until I was over my operation and all recovered. I knew I wouldn't be going anywhere once I got my paws through that door... and here I still am 9 years later!
Since I have gotten a little bit older and a lot more grey, I have been struggling with some arthritis and that's when mum got me my Walkin' Wheels!!! They have changed my life; now I don't get stiff in the mornings and I can enjoy going on lovely long walks and runs again! I feel very lucky to have my Walkin' Wheels which allows me to be able to continue to live my best life possible!"

Cali's Story ✨
"Cali was rescued when witnessed being thrown into the trash from a great height. Her rescue team saw her spirit then and named her Hope and gave her a new start in her life. With care in rescue she quickly developed her attitude and became Caliente, or Cali for short. Her foster mom recognized her need for a wheelchair and made it happen.
With a “don’t tell me what I can do” attitude, Cali displays her determination and ability that forward is forward no matter the approach or speed. Cali treats her wheelchair like a throne. It has given her mental freedom and physical conditioning different from “walking” around that will contribute to her longevity in body and mind. She shows us no matter how many times we flip ourselves belly up, roll back over, get back up and just keep rolling.
Her wheelchair has opened up our community, an unspoken invite if you will for all ages, humans and dogs and an odd kitty friend too, to stop, chat, learn and share the unmeasurable gift of time and fellowship.
We, her family, are blessed to have received our new family member with her wheels and blown away that she will have outgrown this wheelchair in probably less than another months time. It will be imperative to Cali to replace this chair and continue to see her blossom."

Kiwi's story 🥝✨
"Though Kiwi is still a puppy, she’s had an eventful life in her first-year. She was abandoned at a shelter in San Antonio, Texas and had suffered a spinal injury that left her with hind end paralysis. The shelter had her on the euthanize list when @redfernanimalrescue, picked her up and placed her with a foster family in Colorado. Her foster family, @coloradofosterfam, described her as laying flat on her chest and unable to move when she was first brought to them. Through rehab and with her Walkin’ Pets wheelchair she was able to stand and then start walking.
My husband and I saw Kiwi featured for adoption on the Walkin’ Pets Instagram page and immediately fell in love with her. We enjoyed following along with her journey and had a few conversations with the animal rescue and foster family to more fully understand her needs. She joined our family in January of this year. She continued her therapy while we were living in Seattle and is now working hard again to stand independently and learn to walk at @vomcvet, her new rehab facility in Florida. Kiwi has been such a great addition to our fur family and we have enjoyed watching her bring new energy to our two other older dogs. She is living her best life here in Florida, going for walks every morning and we can’t wait to take her to run in the waves at the beach in her chair!

Meet Kato the resilient German Shepherd and his loving mom Teresa Palmer . 💙 Despite living with Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Kato continues to face life head-on. This progressive spinal cord disease is similar to ALS in humans, and causes progressive weakness, loss of coordination, and in later stages, paralysis and incontinence.
With support from his family and Walkin' Pets, Kato recently got his own Walkin' Wheels wheelchair to help him stay mobile and enjoying life for as long as possible. His new wheels have made a world of difference for his mobility and quality of life, and his mom Teresa shared that they have "allowed him to be a dog again."
