We got so busy with the Holiday that I forgot to post the last placemat. If you see your forever friend on here or you think someone you know may be interested in adopting, please let them know so they can go visit them! Also, be sure to mention you saw these advertisers on the mat, as they and the restaurants who use them make this possible for the pets that need homes. Grateful to all involved, always!

I haven't posted in a while on this page. I see it is getting views so I wanted to update everyone. We are now working on the next magazine - the entire idea to publish this magazine came from the fact that there is GOOD all around us. As you all know it started with how GOOD it is to adopt and have a pet to love (or two or six). That fact could not be more true. All the work and money to keep them safe and healthy comes back to you a zillion fold in the unconditional love they provide to you and your family. They are just so grateful to be yours. So we continue to do placemats every seven weeks and we continue to place the Crazy About Pets magazine inside of our We Call This HOME Magazine. There is never a shortage of fantastic stories, the issue will always be the time and energy it takes to get them on the pages. Make no mistake, we LOVE what we do. We have been graced with so many new friends thoughout this journey who share our same sentiments. As the magazine progresses, we will update you on the progress. Special thanks to Watphoto Professional Photography Services Bill Trojann Charles Bradley Brown and his Momma and everyone who has already committed to a story for this issue. Tons of work ahead but we know it will come out great and this is the right time to focus on the GOOD.

Because of all that is going on I forgot to post the last placemat. AND...we are already working on the next one. I have my list of those waiting to get on, I promise, when and if anyone hops off you will be called - We are incredibly grateful for the support we have received for almost 13 years now! These pets need every chance they can get to get seen and possibly adopted into forever homes. Thank you advertisers and restaurants for the support!!

If you were on the fence about running an ad in our We Call This HOME Magazine spin-off for the summer "Get Off Your APP & Go" issue #2, you may want to consider it next time! Four weeks after delivering 6,100+ magazines to area businesses, we find ourselves with 1.5 boxes of "50 copies" left and a few in the hands of others distributing them for us. THEY ARE GONE from many of the places we have put them in. People do appreciate PRINTED publications still! They do enjoy reading stories about their area and they do benefit from knowing that we have a fantastic amount of businesses in this area for them to shop at or get services from. Added bonus of course is the chance our local shelter/rescue pets get to be noticed and adopted.
Did I mention that we LOVE WHAT WE DO?❤

This one came out last month, we are late getting it up. Mike and I are so grateful for all of the support we have received with the placemat and magazines, as always! Please support the businesses on it and in the magazines. They are helping us get the word out about pets who need homes.

Last night on our way home, we were able to stop by The Pretty Paw Lounge and meet the owner, Rachel Anne. Here business, a phenomenal idea, helps others! What an amazing idea she had to start this business that allows cats/kittens from Kitten Angels to live a fun and safe life there while waiting to find their forever homes. Her little cafe is FULL of of local vendors, some animal related, but not all. She accepts vendors who put their items in there, it is stocked full! (But she has more room if intersted).
The building was meant to be a liquor store originally so there are tons of shelves on the back wall where all the items are for sale. Her counter has bakery items from a local baker (we got the most incredible blueberry muffins), and there is so much more to choose from as well.

and then, please, go check it out! We need more of these - we need one in every city/town. LOVE THIS IDEA!! Thank you Rachel Anne for helping the kitties and allowing small businesses to grow by sharing your space with others.

Finally I can share what had to be the hardest magazine to get out that we have done so far. Yes, it is out later than we had planned, but for good reason. We were given the gift of spending time with my dad, Joseph Sinicropi, an amazing father, while he was at Mountain Valley Hospice. Cancer robbed him of what could have been many more years. In spite of the heartache, we finished it and it still came out wonderful. We will be forever grateful to everyone for their patience and understanding as we took a pause to spend many days with dad. Love and miss him immensely.
Let's look on the bright side for the later delivery. Other publications have been out for weeks now and this one will be FRESH...so it may be a great time to get it out. Last year's magazine only lasted 6 weeks and it will still be summer in 6 weeks! Enjoy it everyone! Read it here online first but definitely grab a copy when you see them. I will put up a list as we get them out.

Heading for our 13th year in business...helping shelter pets find homes and now helping people realize how awesome it is to live in the area full of great people and businesses. In our 3rd year of business we took it up a notch and published our first Crazy About Pets Magazine. Creativity Unleashed was started with immense love for all dogs/cats and the realization that people are just better off when they have one (or two or five...) to love and care for. It has evolved in to a sort of celebration of where we live... We Call This HOME Magazine, always continuing to highlight the cats/dogs and incredible volunteers and staff who care for them while they wait. We truly love doing this, this is our retirement. We work full time because we have to for now, but someday, we can only imagine what we can morph this adventure into.
Grateful for all of your support over the years.
TODAY, we go and get our 14th published magazine...
Cannot wait for you to see it.

On 19.5 hours today - trying hard to get this to the printer tomorrow. At this point there aren't many words to describe the exhaustion, but we did it! And after we proof and fix the little things on all 56 pages it's off to the printer. Phew!! NEXT: rest.

ALMOST THERE! Thank you to everyone who has been patient with us (and you know why). There are so many things to do in the summer if you just put that phone DOWN (after you GPS where you are GOING!).

Those of you who KNOW what is going on, are understanding of why we are where we are with this. But like any other business the show must go on and go on it will. A later print date won't change the quality or awesomeness of this magazine. My dad was very proud of this work we are doing and in his honor, it will get out and it will be amazing. So please, if we are waiting for your articles, your copy, your ok on ads, get it in. If you don't you can always be in our next We Call This HOME magazine. Thank you to everyone who has reached out offering to help in any way, we so appreciate that. We GOT THIS!

There is a ton more work to do to get this magazine out, but I will perservere. There is not one negative thought about doing it, even with a mountain of work left to do. I've got this! Thank you to those helping pull it together, it will be worth every late night and early morning. This FREE magazine is a spinoff to our We Call This HOME Magazine - we had so much fun putting it out last summer and we are going to do it again. There is no shortage of things to do, places to eat, drink, hike, enjoy with family and friends in our area. The businesses are fantastic, we live amongst GOOD PEOPLE. This just one way to get the word out about your business, but it is a great way! We hand distribute them to so many places and last year they were GONE so fast. So this year we are printing more of them. If we have contacted you and you have not decided yet, please let us know asap. If we did not get to you yet, or if you are a business we have never had contact with and you are interested, please reach out. Don't miss this opportunity, summer is short but it can be great for all of us, we need sunshine and fun!
(As always, shelter pets will be highlighted throughout and of course watch for our friend Charles Bradley Brown, who is always willing to advocate for shelter pets, because he knows how awesome it can be to be adopted into just the right home ❤)

Can I just say that I sit here looking at the clock thinking "Oh No! the weekend is almost over! - while I "WORK" on the next magazine. It's not that I mind my REAL job, it's a good one, great benefits, great people, but I honestly cannot wait to go home and work on what my heart loves the most!

I got asked once to talk at a women's luncheon. I could not do it because I work during the day. I would have told them how good it feels to do something you truly love, that YOU control, that YOU make happen. I would have told them how fortunate I feel for all of the friends I have made along the way, for all of the adoptions (the one I know about) that came about because of my idea, the one that came straight from my heart on a normal day 12 years ago while sitting on the couch with an illness.

We Call This HOME Magazine and Crazy About Pets (tucked inside it), along with our Get Off Your APP & Go! magazine are all a result of many people's input and help and we appreciate you all. I am at the best part right now, deciding what articles we will feature in this one. I am contacting people involved and working out the details, then I will plan out the pages. There are just so many "Things to Do, Places to Go! and just all around wonderful businesses, and pets (there will always be pets in some aspect). It's so exhilarating - don't think for one minute I consider my weekends lost!

If you have a dream, don't EVER give up on it! It's not all about money...there are other benefits to reap, ones that go right to your soul. Make yourself proud...GO FOR IT!

When you LOVE what you do, it's not WORK!❤
