This is something everyone should see. This xray is of a 2 week old puppy.

When you get your 8/10 week old puppies, please keep this image in mind. Their bones do not even touch yet. They plod around so cutely with big floppy paws and wobbly movement because their joints are entirely made up of muscle, tendons, ligaments with skin covering. Nothing is fitting tightly together or has a true socket yet.

When you run them excessively or don't restrict their exercise to stop them from overdoing it during this period you don't give them a chance to grow properly. Every big jump or excited bouncing run causes impacts between the bones. In reasonable amounts this is not problematic and is the normal wear and tear that every animal will engage in.

But when you're letting puppy jump up and down off the lounge or bed, take them for long walks/hikes, you are damaging that forming joint. When you let the puppy scramble on tile with no traction you are damaging the joint.

You only get the chance to grow them once. A well built body is something that comes from excellent breeding and a great upbringing-BOTH, not just one.

Once grown - around 12-18 months depending on their breed, you will have the rest of their life to spend playing and engaging in higher impact exercise. So keep it calm while they're still little baby puppies and give the gift that can only be given once.

This is my Bella, she is 15 years young. She loves dresses and coats. I love this little pup so very much… she has been part of some real hard years we have had lately. We lost my husband and my mom, 6 ms apart. We both adored both of them. We have been great support to one another. Thank you Bella for being in my life. I pray for many more. 💗🐾

Hello dog lover,
I just want to share what has worked for me and my loved pups.
I don’t have memories of anytime during my lifetime, when I didn’t have a pet. I was brought up in Italy, with parents that loved and respected animals. They were always considered part of the family. I remember being old enough to take on the responsibility of having a pet and my dad telling me to share some of my food with my pet. Dad said: remember, a dog, will never turn on the person who he is getting food from. Their loyalty to you, starts with sharing your own food. Dad diluted whatever we were eating, with a little water, and they always LOVED what was served to them. I’m still doing the same, after so many years and few pets 😢( I wished they lived longer) of my own. Although they have all lived a healthy long life,it’s never long enough. I have always fed all of them , home cooked food, I just make extra of what I know it’s good for them, which is mostly everything that is good for us human ( just few exception,easy to google list of ‘don’t’), and I usually put the spices on the table for anyone to add.
I’m happy to say that my pets have died because of old age, none have had complications that have caused them an early death. Coincidental? I don’t know, but I’m very thankful I had them part of my life for so many years.
I also want to mention that I have started the human diet as soon as they become part of our family.
For years I have been told that dogs need a special diet and I was wrong for feeding them human food, but the results speak loud, human food is good for them. Finally this year, I see how many Pet Food Companies are advertising “Home Cooked Food For Your Pets” at a very “gourmet “ price.$$$$$$$
Please contact me if you want ideas on what to cook for your pets...it is so easy, you will be asking yourself why you didn’t do it sooner.
I’ll be happy to share more of my experience. 🐾🐾🤗
