If you are looking a friend or companion then you are at the right place. our mission to save homeless, abandoned or neglected dogs and find them caring homes.

We still care for them even after delivery You are all welcome to the Golden Heart Rescuers page. Our group is a volunteer based group that focuses on rescuing dogs from local municipal shelters and from owners who don't want of their pets any longer. These pets are all vet checked, given appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, tested for various diseases, given preventative medications,

spayed or neutered and then sheltered until responsible homes are found. Since beginning this mission in 2014 we have rescued and placed over 3200 dogs
We are a group that rescues adoptable dogs from municipal animal control facilities across several states on the day they are to be euthanized. We provide a safe harbor for our pets until they are adopted into responsible, loving homes. All are spayed or neutered to help end the vicious cycle of homeless pets. We are capable of shipping nationwide. As for the Adoption fee, it is non refundable for any reason. The adoption fee covers VET CHECK? RABIES VACCINATION, AGE APPROPRIATE AMOUNTS OF VACCINATIONS SETS FOR THE PUPPIES/FULL-GROWN DOGS AND THE SPAY/NEUTER, MICROCHIP, DE-WORMER, FLEA and HEARTWORM PREVENTION, complimentary WELLNESS exam (within 5 days of adoption) and follow-up care (within 14 days of adoption) at any vet closer to adopter's address. The fee is a donation to support the rescue effort. We are open to serious inquiries only. For appointments to view the dog of your choice, you're requested to make a 40% deposit which is part of the adoption fee and is refundable if you arrive and not convenient with the dog. You'll also be given the opportunity to make another choice from the available dogs ready for adoption. Thank you ��

Meet Donk, the dog with a love for all things "dunk"! 🏀🧡

This 11-month-old lab/rat terrier mix is a slam-dunk when it comes to winning your heart. Donk is a very friendly pup who can be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he'll be ready to make a splash in your life.

Donk is an energetic and playful boy who loves to dunk his toys in his water bowl before playing with them. He's a big fan of basketball and will often try to dunk his ball in the hoop (even if it's not quite regulation height). Donk's favorite game is fetch, and he'll always bring the ball back to you for another round of fun.

Although Donk is submissive, he warms up quickly and would love some children in his forever home. He's great with other dogs and loves to play with them so a canine sibling would be perfect as well for this sweet boy!

Alexia is an absolutely adorable 8-weeks-old poodle who weighs in at about 2.8 lbs. She's a super sweet dog who just wants to be around people. She loves to play and will gladly tag along with her humans for long walks or car rides. But, when it's time to settle down, Alexia is more than willing to lay down next to you for a nap.
Friendly and outgoing, she loves to play with anyone she meets. She is good in a crate, walks well on a leash, and is making excellent progress on basic commands. Gershon was rescued alongside his siblings from Puerto Rico after Hurricane Fiona made landfall. He is a 6-month-old Labrador Retriever/Pointer mix with the most adorable tri-colored markings. Based on his rough start to life, Gershon can be a bit shy when first meeting new people and when introduced to new situations, however, that is nothing a few pets and love cannot fix!

According to Gershon's foster mom: "Gershon is a sweet but shy fellow who needs some patience and TLC to bring him out of his shell. He gets along very well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with an older canine companion to show him the ropes. Therefore, he must go to a forever home with another dog present. He enjoys running and a little wrestling with canine friends. He’s learning to enjoy toys and treats. He does very well walking on a leash in the company of his foster brothers. Terrific Tia is here to say hi! 😍

Tia is a 4-month-old Labrador Retriever/Hound mix and currently weighs about 26 lbs. Tia is a super friendly girl who has amazing puppy energy. She loves to run around in a fenced-in backyard whether it's with her siblings, by herself or playing with toys. Tia loves to play with all kinds of toys and loves to get the zoomies. Tia enjoys showing off her zoomies and then getting belly rubs or rolling around in the grass. She also enjoys a good mid-day sun bath.

Tia can be goofy and trip over her own feet while running toward you to give you kisses. She is a total sweetheart who is ready for her forever family! Tia is doing wonderfully with her crate, leash, and house training. She can be shy initially but it only takes a moment or two for her to realize she loves you! Tia gets along wonderfully with her canine siblings, cat friends, and any kids too! Tia would love to go home with a big family who can shower her with affection.

Elf is a 6-month-old Saint Bernard/Shepherd mix and currently weighs about 40 lbs. Elf is such a playful boy and loves to show off his fun energy. He is up for any and all adventures his forever family will take. He will likely grow to be a large-sized dog.

Elf loves to play with his doggie friends and is very confident. He will give everyone he meets wonderful kisses and a few super cute head tilts too. Elf is working very hard on his leash, crate, and house training. Elf would love a fenced-in backyard where he could run around all day and play.

One of his favorite toys are antlers to chew on so he would love to have tons of options at home! After Elf plays all day long he really likes to snuggle with you on the couch or in bed. Elf would not mind going home with cats or children either! Elf will watch over his family and bring smiles to your faces whenever possible.

Jake is a happy and energetic pup Black Labrador Retriever mixed pup! He loves to play with his siblings and anything soft and squeaky. Jake enjoys romping around in a fenced-in backyard and going on long walks. Jake will surely be the talk of the neighborhood and make tons of friends along the way. Jake has not met a single person, cat, or dog that he does not like. He is 5 months old and currently weighs about 30 pounds. He will grow to be a nice medium size.
