We had a fun weekend at this Summers last all breed dog show in Palmer, Alaska.
Zara took first in BOB (best of breed) on Friday & Sunday.
Every time this young pup steps into the ring with her
breeder/co-owner Kelly Benedict she continues to develop her skills.
We look forward to watching her grow & mature, but to never lose her fiery personality we love so much. ❤️‍🔥
Thank you Kelly for seeing something in “Z” that makes her worthy of showing.
Thank you to Stevie D Collins for showing her in group and affirming she’s looking & moving as she should.
Thank you Holly Kramer for always taking time out of your family schedule to groom & make her beautiful.

We’re here at the Bear Paw Festival in Eagle River today till 10pm.
The rain has subsided and it’s a great day to stroll the isles and see all these Alaska Makers.
Lots of great food vendors & carnival rides ad well.

We’ve got lots of new colors in coasters. Recycled a piece of wood 30 years old for these. Look at the
Cool 😎 worm holes.
New epoxy serving trays, epoxy console tables and live edge benches.
Don’t see a color or size you like no worries, we do customs.

Today I was completely overcome by joy &
emotion 😭😭

Zara took FIRST place in Bred By class at the Newfoundland Nationals. 😱😱😱🍾

You never quite know what to expect when you’re traveling so far
(from Alaska) and competing with pups that are possibly older and more experienced, but you go into the ring doing your best and feel very privileged to be part of such an exciting experience.
Placing at all is humbling, but taking First is the freaking
icing on the cake!
I am beyond proud of Zara and forever grateful to Kelly for giving us the gift of being her parents, mentoring us in everything Newfy and Loving Zara like one of her own.
It is truly a privilege to be a part of this Newfoundland family.

It was a very warm 87 🥵 degree day here in Michigan, but that didn’t stop Zara 💖 (in the middle) from helping her daddy Safari win a 3rd place Stud Dog ribbon.
Proud of this 2 yr. old girl at her first Newfoundland Nationals. 🐶🐾

We are having so much fun this week at the 2022 Newfoundland Nationals.
Bekah and Bella accomplished exactly what they came here to do and titled in Rally Advanced.

Opening ceremonies were “dog” on funny 😂with all the Newfs dressed up in this years theme The Greatest Show. 🎪

Always such a joy to watch the junior handlers who in most cases are quite a bit smaller than their Newfies.
They are the future handlers.
