The park was purchased in 1975 and began development in 1994. The park was renamed Whisper Faith Kovach Park in 1998 as a memorial to a seven year old girl. Whisper Faith Kovach Park is an important playground for the Abbott Loop neighborhood. The playground and safety surfacing are not currently compliant with industry-wide safety and accessibility standards. Upgrading the playground and safety s

urfacing will remedy this issue. Friends of Whisper Faith Kovach Park are seeking financial support for improvements that begin construction in 2018. We are also looking for volunteers!
